Both Perrie and Jesy were out very late but as for being hungover none of the girls said they were. OK magazine tweets have implied they were though.

And there is this.

Sadly thats all it takes these days. any excuse to slate the girls from clothing to drinking and whatever else these people can make up.

I'll advise the California Highway Patrol to include panini and a bread knife for their field sobriety test.

I'm pretty sure the girls have been the worse for wear a few times, I just havent seen any evidence they let it affect their professional obligations.

Are other UK artists really that uninteresting that British media has to write about every little thing LM do or say?

It's annoying.

Fleur and little mix are both equally talented as demonstrated on their little duet - even the biggest Fleur detractors admitted she was good and could hold her own against 4 girls - Fleur is doing her second album at the moment so with respect no one knows how she's going to do just like no one knew how little mix second third 4th single was going to do and get weird was their break out success it hasn't happened to Fleur yet she got off to s good start with her platinum first single but wel soon see how she does in her next era! Depends on the new route they take!

Both are deserving of what they achieve - why can't people just be nice - if little mix had a tune like sax you would all be wetting yourselves I see in Twitter all the time oh I wish little mix would do a song like that - I don't know why people hating on Fleur in a little mix thread!

However back to little mix I thought they was quite funny on Sunday brunch but have seen they got some stick I guess some of the viewers just don't have banter

I'm not sure I enjoy the song as a slowie. The rambunctious energy of the original really makes it for me. I would rather they went big on the guitar instead of the keyboard for the acoustic. Is that Curtis there?

Agreed, it doesn't work.

The harmonies were insane though. They should have performed another song from Glory Days that would work well as a slow number. Touch acoustic would have been good.

So far BM is better on an acoustic arrangement as it fits the song. I dont think SOTMX is meant to be a contemplative mood type of song but more defiant.

I saw this over at Buzzjack.

Just out of interest, have we had any albums selling over 100k in a single week this year yet?

Not by anyone alive.

Bowie has both the top 2 weekly sales in 2016 so far - Drake's 'Views' with 78,397 on 12/5 is the highest by a living artist.

Considering GD is already on 57k after only 2 days they seem headed for a milestone. Perhaps not 100k but certainly highest selling non posthumous at the least.

I think Glory Days will sell nearly a million

Don't judge me.

Edit: I also think Down and Dirty would be a reasonable single. Though it should be released as like single 4 o 5 - preferably near the start of the next season of Game of Throne ”

Power over Touch IMO, the more I listen to it... I don't get the TS influence. However I feel a Salute vibe to it.

Another proof that they blend vocally even when performing their solo bits.
The more they spend time with each other, the more they get a lil bit of influence from one another.
I am pretty sure Jesy is good at impersonating any of the remaining girls.

Get Weird 61k first week
Glory Days 57k first 2 days

Could they get a second week at #1?

How lovely would it be if it have the highest opening week sales this year

Whatever they end up with does this put them on course to be the highest female act to open this year in the UK? Adele was last year.

yeah, Beyoncé opened with 73k I think and she's the highest thus far, even though she only had 3 days of sales

I did not enjoy that. They sounded very lazy and amateurs, and where are the harmonies?

I truly believe NEM should come out at some point. It's very pop ie GA, Take That, what the uk likes.
I still have not heard LM on magic radios since day 1

I bought 2 CDs at Sainsbury today btw

It looks like they only practiced it the day before which is probably due to their hectic schedule.

On another note, from Buzzjack:
Quote:
“ I really think all the supermarkets are missing a trick by not stocking the deluxe...I imagine the concert DVD alone would be a big impulse Xmas stocking/present buy, so I can't understand why they're all only stocking the standard. It also resulted in me not getting it on Friday as I'd have liked, I naively thought the deluxe would be in either Asda or Sainsbury's.”

This is stupid, why not stock the Deluxe version?...

I just didn't feel the Sunday Brunch acoustic was really cutting into them, that they were really getting after it, even though they sounded very good. Could be the track, could be rehearsal time, could be the alcohol (I've noticed that I'm a bit flat and absent emotionally for a good 12-18h after drinking, personally). Who knows.
