On another note, SOTMX is already on 455k so its probably Platinum in 4 weeks! Not so long ago any Platinum single seemed far away and now LM is doing it in a couple of months.

As far as the setlist for Ariana tour... I'm thinking Salute, Wings, and Black Magic have to be included. After that I would prefer all Glory Days tracks. SOTME, Touch, Oops, NMSS.

Last slot is tricky, obviously Power is doing well but I would also like a ballad to show how well they can sing. Possibly SLS II? They could do a little a capella section like HYD again as well.

Personally, I'd be very worried if they go this route...

Isn't it likely that AG's fans (who won't necessarily have heard of the girls) , be persuaded that LM are a kiddy/tween band, singing cheesy songs???
Their own fans already know what they can do and will be looking for the new tracks...I could see one song from GW, but for the rest, I'd pick from GD - anything from Down & Dirty onwards...
Anyone new to LM would not be likely to think they were immature - or do you think otherwise??

It's probably unsurprising industry execs are behind them really.

They are highly professional, reliable and not prone to dramas that effect group image. They are also massive in the UK. For those whose job it is to invest in music acts, they are probably ideal compared to many others out there.

I still think sotmx is a better song for the US than touch though. I actually think Your Love and Oops are the most commercial tracks, although they both have a more summery sound to them.

BM - SLS (too straining for their vocals for 40 shows?) - Oops - Hair - Touch - SOTME

I do think they'll completely leave out the DNA album

They have no substance abuse issues to interfere with performances, no messy image repair, they really are a dream act. Plus they actually like what they're doing and not likely to go off on a wild hare.

For what its worth i expect the girls will feature mainly GD tracks as Its obvious they are in the process of attracting an older audience. No point in giving hoped for new fans a past era which despite some great stuff is old hat.

So true they have everything going for them from great work ethic, great voices, stunning looks. No point me going on though or I would be here all day.

I just hope they can do better than performing in front of a curtain, but who knows.

Tbh I'm more concerned about Ariana's tour sales. I think LM have sold more for theirs than she has for hers in the US.

Ariana is a lovely singer but from watching her shows on YT she is not the most exciting to watch, unlike LM who make it a great and memorable experience leaving fans always wanting more.
