It's hilarious reading the fanbase on Twitter despising it and thinking it's D&D that'll do it.
I haven't seen too many tweets like that, though... my pet peeve at this point is reading the US fans complaining they're not coming here when they're actually spending 3 months and showing up in pretty much every major city.

I agree, Oops is easily the one that's got the best shot to me though. It's hilarious reading the fanbase on Twitter despising it and thinking it's D&D that'll do it.
Twitter wanted Grown didnt it?

I think the odds of them breaking mainstream consciousness here are exponentially better with Touch and Oops following up SOTME
Just please do more than one song Columbia!

Really? That seems stupid to say on a 40 stop tour.

I wonder if Columbia is planning any follow up tv appearances like they did with Black Magic?

Boss Ladies. Boss.

No middle aged man with a pot belly is going to be in charge of making any decisions without their consent. This makes the documentary more appealing now, if they have control over what gets shown, it'll be a lot more authentic.
Well, I'm a middle aged guy (no pot belly!) and I have watched and written about many music documentaries and the artist taking control is no guarantee of quality, what it really needs is an expert music documentary maker!

SOMTE at the JBB will be over a million views in a few days or even by tomorrow I think.

No one is even close - the closest videos are their other performances

I think JA has 130k views on his and that's the closest artist I think.

Why is it Capital can keep their performances up for all Eternity (thankfully) but XF takes them down in a week? At least the Capital ones have big staging to showcase them.

These videos will be great for people discovering them.

I saw Shawn Mendes with a 250k+ view video. Reasonable considering he sells out arenas around the world.

Yes, exactly - and one who can keep down the 'immature' aspects which won't go down well with the US audience imo.

There also needs to be subtitles!

For Jade anyway. I mean I love her accent and when she talks she really is so adorable but even I find it difficult understanding her sometimes.

I mean over time, I think it will get less stronger - Cheryl's did from when she first was on Popstars to what she sounds like now.

At the very end of this promo clip thanking Argentinian fans Perrie says "hopefully we'll see you IN ARGENTINA". Dont they normally either not say anything or something vague like "soon"?

Since when did we become a nation of sophisticates? We have The Three Stooges and the Jackass movies.

If anything most people think the UK is Upstairs, Downstairs and Downton Abbey.

GD has sold around 183k so far, should clear 200k by the end of the week.

Not sure about Olly but he's selling well and on course to be back in the top 5 this week. James Arthur is at #17 this week, but his single seems to be breaking out globally a bit. You might be able to get totals for those two if you ask over at Buzzjack, as I don't think anyone in this thread is tracking those artists closely.

BJ runs a YTD Top 40 thread every week, here is this week's.
http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index...owtopic=195934

GD already at #23 YTD. Olly is at 121.5k, no listing for JA yet but less than 114k by this list.

Luckily the Argentines probably won't be able to understand a word the Geordies said

I want Jade to be full on Geordie accent over in the US. We love funny accents and she's so cute.

They need to get them back on Wendy Williams "Zeean?" Jeed?"

Lol This is Spinal Tap! Nigel ? You are thinking mockumentary?

What are the chances of a tv series like The Monkees, `The Partridge Family, or more up to date, S Club 7 in Miami 7 or Glee, where the band play fictionalised versions of themselves?

Yeah I think sometimes they try to hide their britishness in the US but maybe that's what people like about them? When they're worried about how they're being they're not as fun, in their best interviews and games you can tell their accents are showing.
