Touch is trending in the UK, it seems Capital have played it again. Feedback that I can see seems positive!

Get Weird has some legs....a bit like Leigh Anne?

Will GD ever outrun or outlast GW?

^^Down boy!

I'm applauding them putting Perrie back in slacks rather than long dresses, I think it shows her legs off better. After reading their book I now understand Jade's fondness for suits. I miss her bowties and patterns and Leigh's snapback days though. Sometimes they dont have to be ultra sexy vixens.

You're right, they don't have to reveal when they don't need to.
But Leigh gives me that Bond girl vibe.

Gee, I wonder if they could get the Bond film song at some stage?

I notice that Little Mix come out rather favorably in this review of X Factor winners in The Guardian, who seem to have joined the ranks of the converted.

The Guardian loves them now.

Little Mix
Little Mix were beamed in from a parallel universe in which The X Factor functioned broadly as it should – taking various sparky contestants and throwing them together to create a genuinely good pop band that was more than the sum of its parts. Was their winning charm and success a sign of the future direction of the show? Or a weird blip in the system before some fresh t.w.a.t. with an acoustic guitar came along?
Last seen: Topping the UK charts with their fourth album, Glory Days.
High point: Being an actually good and successful pop act – a rarity in this feature.
Low point: Things seem to be stalling in the US – Glory Days only reached No 25 there.
Rating: XXXXX

Nice find! Pedant mode on, he's forgotten 1D were bumped to 3rd by Rebecca Ferguson, who still has a career. Also I think Louisa is off to an ok start considering how things work these days and will eventually rate better, though for now she's not my cup of tea.

I'm actually more excited by the prospect of Saara. She has the big vocal of a Sam Bailey, but is younger and has a flair for showmanship like LM. I could see her being a more exciting Louisa, an entertaining vocalist coupled with a really good instrumental and off to the races

Love Saara, I hope she becomes big somehow, maybe in musical theatre.

Saara actually reminds me of young Celine Dion, in that she has the slight accent to make her exotic but she also has the big voice and a LOT of stage presence. I dont think she has to be just a theater actress. I watched her homecoming in Helsinki and she filled that plaza of 10,000. If I hadnt known I would have thought it was her open air concert special.
She also seems "present", not passive but aware and thinking.

Linking this back to LM, that was the same feeling I had when I happened upon the XF show their year, at the end. They filled the arena, and were exciting. These singing shows get a lot of big voiced people but rarely someone who's commanding like an Adam Lambert or Carrie Underwood. Those dont come along often so Syco would be unwise to not snatch her.

There's a part of me that likes the symmetry of finding a winner like that 5 years to the day a similar winner took the crown, too.

She's SO beautiful. I love her hair when she braids it or has dreadlocks. To be honest, she rocks any hair style and outfit.

I wish they would update the sales for the older singles, because the figures are from 3-4 years ago. Salute for sure has a lot of trickle sales.

But in the Twitter tally: @LittleMix takes the no. 1 spot now with #ShoutOutToMyEx!

A Chicago based, national online music news & media outlet formed in 2002 by 2 former @LifeAtPurdue students. All about the music & nothing else.

(Its very small, I'm just surprised LM is even showing up)

Jesy rehearsing her singing while jumping up and down. Looks like intense choreo is on the way for Sunday.

I'm not a big fan of musical theatre, I.e. I can't remember the last time I went to a musical.
But with Saara's looks and her big voice I could see her as the lead singer of a Symphonic Metal band (Nightwish, Within Temptation).

Here's an example of what Saara could have done as her duet.

Are you kidding? You dont think that got on her Instagram by accident? She and Jade are the media savvy ones of the group.

I've been pondering why LM's streaming went from zero to hero with SOTMX suddenly, and now I'm wondering if the global live streaming really jump started Spotify. I checked for Oct. 16, the night of the broadcast, and Global Spotify had 314k streams already, of which 81k were from the UK. By the next day it was over a million globally, 400k from the UK. Also the night of the stream which was afternoon in the US, the song began to shoot up iTunes and got to #14 by night.

I understand the live broadcast is going to Finland and all those millions of people watching will also get to see LM perform while they're waiting for Saara. The album debuted at #26 in Finland.

These are all nice ways to get around radio.

wasn't the SOTME performance the only part that was broadcast live on youtube the last time, not the full show? i think it may be the same this time
