Now they have Houston TX and Denver CO.”

Are they allowed to just lie on these things? It says Little Mix had a number 1 album in the UK for three weeks which isn't true? Or is it and I'm just mistaken? It also says they sold 100k in their first week which I didn't think they did?

I would be more worried about raggedness or uncontrolled vibrato in the voice.

Not sure about the vocal coaching. I agree Jesy and Leigh-Anne have shown big gains this era. I wonder how much of that is new technique and how much of that is working through internal emotional crud. I mean I'm sure the breakup with Jake has been messy and difficult but Jesy seems to be carrying around much less deeply held stuff these days anyway. Perrie and to a lesser extent Jade seem to me to be the ones with more stuff to process atm, which is not the usual dynamic.”

I have to agree with you, Nissl. I thought the Jingle Bell Ball performance of Shout Out to My Ex was actually one of Perrie's best. Didn't see her as being that out of breath at all.

I think it is just a case though of Perrie's vocals being scrutinised a bit more because everyone is used to hers always being on point. I thought I had quoted where you'd said that, casualviewer, but I obviously haven't and I'm too lazy to go back and do it!

One thing I'm particularly loving about the Shout Out to My Ex performances is right at the beginning of Leigh-Anne's section where she does that 'Mmmm' bit, sounds so good!

I think this is true. Perrie's voice has always been impressive and as the other girls' voices grow in range hers probably appears to remain static by comparison. Oddly, although Perrie has the strongest voice, the others appear to be developing much more versatility in their vocal styles than her, especially Leigh.

Just saw this brazilian on twitter "the best part of being a DJ is playing unknown songs that people turn out to love, it happened last night with Touch by Little Mix"

Columbia didnt really lie though? The album was only off 100k by 3000. The flyer says "#1 UK song/track sales for 3 wks" . SOTMX was #1 for 3 weeks.

Edit: how very weird! The image just refreshed with what you're seeing now, I had the old image. I think that was a mistake on the intern's part about the album 3 weeks.

I havent seen all of their lives recently so if CiN was worse it must have been really off. I'll check it out.

I think the "lie" about opening with 100k is understandable haha

I now have a banner ad for that XF Winners single. I never realized those were on US iTunes before, or is it because its now broadcast over here? Its at #305. LM still only have SOTMX showing, no Touch or Oops yet.

Remember when LM were called flops because Cannonball only sold 210k? They wish now.

Yeah the album position part is more significant than the sales if they were only 3000 off. It's not like saying number 1 for 2 weeks is not impressive so it must just be a mistake. Strange!

Doing the two songs on the final really seems to have paid off for them if they're both charting fairly well.

They should do that more often (performing album tracks and not just the single(s))

I wonder what would have happened if they had performed Power.

I laughed out loud at the 23 million figure when it showed up, especially when 2 months ago it was 17 million, are they buying Glory Days in Mars? Haha....

This of course is one of LM's major assets. Having four good singers with different styles increases the genre base they can choose from.

So as it turns out, LM's series was the third highest watched in the entire XF history.

Standing floor is great for a live show though. Get the biggest fans up front and get them moving.

I for one am looking forward to Ed's return, so sue me. Would be a little surprised if he competes with himself for the Christmas #1 single though.

Matt Terry is definitely not tasting no 1 is he? I guess although he's on top of the iTunes chart, his streams are not near as high as Clean Bandit or Steve/Louis who are his main competition.

Kworb is already showing Matt as dark red and Clean Bandit has been increasing the last few updates. Uh oh...

BJ thinks Clean Bandit will still be #1 with its full week.

For comparison, SOTMX sold 10k in the remaining hours of Sunday. On the Tues. update it was at 34k, by Wed. 55k. Still impressive.

LM is the only female act in the top albums there.
