I really hope the official impact date is no longer than next week. I know it won't be though and I'll get pissed at Columbia.

No way they can set that up in time I think. Seems like it takes like a month to do all the necessary trials and get an initial crop of stations on board. Not to mention trying to schedule some bit of promo to go along with it... which has to be a nightmare as I'm pretty sure they were tightly booked UK -> Europe -> Australia & friends -> UK album release -> album promo (incl. X-Factor final) this fall.

Oh well, it's a happy surprise this is doing well enough for it to be a problem.

There's nothing an "impact date" would do in this case if they cant be here to promote anyway, except giving out a date for radio to pick it up. They should just let station pick it up now. The real impact date was when it came out on Sunday.
