Indeed, I said it before, but if you ignore sales totals, because you just cannot compare pre digital to today anyway, the last time I saw this reaction to a girl group was the spice girls.

By reaction, I mean the hype for new music, what they wear, how they act, the instant effect a single performance has on sales, not just of the new song but previous stuff too.

This is very different, and I cannot think of anyone else to compare it too. I never thought I would see this level of interest in a girl group again, let alone one that came from the x factor.
