Tbh her stuff on Get Weird was so bubblegum pop but she did write Nothing Feels Like You and Boy on the Salute album (which were both my faves by far and very edge, cool and RnB incorporating those AMAZING harmonies) so they may be incredible songs.
Nothing on Get Weird is bubblegum pop. The Archies, Sugar Sugar, that is bubblegum pop. Little Mix are simply glorious pop music. |

The registration numbers.
Anything recent on GEMA would aroundt : 1800...... On BMI it would be 220/219 at the earliest APRA it would be GW50 Get Weird Era: GEMA : 1555 BMI : 191-208 APRA GW47 Sometimes songs that didn't make the album that do end up getting registered get backed to the era they came from but most of the time they don't but they were usually sitting somewhere else with an older number. Grown for example was registered on BMI as "Walking" alt title Grown with the original registration around 170, when it was then reregistered as just "GROWN" it didn't have the alt title attached to it and the girls finally had their names attached to the song but they didn't originally and it ended up with a 207....... registration. They may end up doing that again, reusing old tracks and reworking them so we could end up with the girls registered as writers but as of yet they aren't on anything. Quote:

It's the only thing missing from their live performances for me.
Out of flying, b-stages or live band, I go for the live band a billion times over personally. I can't believe the budget wouldn't stretch to all of those things if they wanted though? I've seen less successful artists have them. |

only thing I could find is "touch myself" with Cam as the writer but again it's a pre GW track so it could be that and they just removed the "myself" part for the sake of not being too obvious lol

The more tracks from Electric I see the more my list of contributors becomes smaller as there were quite a few on there and unless the rest of the tracks are one per producer a lot of them won't be on. (or weren't true).
I'm guessing DFA made it with maybe two tracks, I don't think Snakehips did, so far we have: 4 Electric (SOTME, No More Sad Songs, Beep Beep) 1 Kuya Productions (F.U.) 1 Cutfather (Nothing Else Matters) 1 Jake Roche/Dan Bartlett 1 Sam Romans/(possibly DJ Freedo) 2.Touch (MNEK) 3.F U (Kyua) 4.OOPs feat Charlie Puth 5.You Gotta Not 6.Down & Dirty 7.Power (Electric) 8.Your Love (Sky Adams) 9.Nobody Like You 10.No More Sad Songs (Electric) 11.Private Show 12.Nothing Else Matters (Cutfather) 13.Beep Beep (Electric) 14.Freak (Jake Roche) 15.Touch (acoustic) |

I think their names just aren't there so that we don't find the songs but it's not hard when Camille/Electric give it away ha, but they weren't on SOTME and apparently wrote it so...

Most of the work I found on BMI was more recent than Get Weird. I doubt it's from the scrapped album.
https://twitter.com/Hits93Toronto/st...75641304285185 vote, it lost to TMG yesterday, 15 minutes and we win edit: some of them are, looking now, but not all |

Some are forgetting that Leigh said very early on during the GW era that they may use some of the scrapped songs for LM4
