How dated will their songs sound though if they used songs recorded in 2014 for an album in 2016. I know it's only a 2 year difference but music evolves so quickly these days and things have to kept fresh.

My only concern though is that as they release more albums, their writing credits in these albums get less and less. I feel like GD will have even less than the 6 songs (7 for Leigh Anne and Jade) they wrote for GW, especially when it seems like they did everything so quick as they were touring until July/August this year.

So Drake just released new music. We'll see about that second week for SOTME.

we have to consider that it wasn't even the plan to push it but surely, even though it makes me sad to see it getting red updates and already amidst the 40s, it really is still doing very well considering their track record. they should get a deal but I'm not sure they trust the song that much (although I think they should)

Well he has had an incredible last couple of years in music. I am a fan but not massive although his Take Care album for me was a masterpiece. After that, he's become very mediocre as someone earlier pointed out.
