I've seen people on Twitter saying they're now at 307k sold after the second wave of releases with of course everything sold out again. Have not added up the venues to see if that's true.

This is the hallmark of a live band that actually does something for the crowd emotionally on every single night. I have a feeling that if they are able to headline the US in the future, the ticketbuying experience is going to be just like the brutal competitions I've endured for Phish tix.

Waiting for info from Buzzjack. Annihilating the chart!

1 Little Mix - Shout Out to My Ex (21k ahead)
2 James Arthur - Say You Won't Let Go
3 The Chainsmokers feat. Halsey - Closer
4 The Weeknd feat. Daft Punk - Starboy
5 Hailee Steinfeld & Grey feat. Zedd - Starving

Also, can I say that the chorus of SOTME is the first time I've heard a vocal pop unit really, really go for it with total abandon? The energy vented does indeed remind me of a stronger Phish show. It's no wonder that it messes people up when they are less than sober. So happy to see this cross over into vocal pop.

I was just thinking this last night. Move falls lower for me because there isnt a big euphoric moment. For me it comes off restrained and cool emotionally. This song is exuberant.

I read people saying the chorus to this is "shouty" but to me its an indication of how people have gotten used to whispering weak vocals in songs the last few years. I'm very pleased how Perrie is finally used for quiet passages and then big soaring vocals. Good use of her power voice.

You Gotta Not (track 5) has had it's time (3:11) added next to it on iTunes, possible IG?

Ooooh, yes! I was wondering when we'd get an IG.

I would kind of like their team to hold off on the grat tracks for a couple of weeks. It's probably best to keep the fandom focused on SOTME while it's smashing, building their social proof on Youtube and Spotify. Maybe release 2 grat tracks in the last two weeks before the album.

would rather get 30 seconds previews of all the songs than a full one

WTH? Who's tweeting from her dead account?
https://twitter.com/grlsimone/status/790575417593737216

Ok ... I really hate this whole controversy and I am secretly hoping Touch (if it's good) becomes their breakthrough hit and not SOTME because of that. Even if it's not a rip off, for a lot of people the chorus does sound the same and it sucks. Imagine the media coverage if SOTME becomes a worldide hit! I'm afraid this whole thing could actually hurt their credibility as artists in the long run.

Born This Way v. Express Yourself

I said it last week but the more familiar the less people see similarities between SOTME and Ugly Heart. At least thats what I read.

If they care so much they should sue, otherwise they should shut up about it? Only the first line sounds similar, at this point it is all free publicity

Silver is 200k in the UK.

It's sold around 12k on average per day. I reckon by Friday it will have sold around 175-185k in total, meaning it should go Silver next week.

Oops was thinking of album certifications, apologies!

Isn't it selling more than 12k a day though? Last weeks figures work out at 16k and so do this weeks.

I thought it was Tuesday. Lord, they really are a force to be reckoned with.

At this rate, the song will be nominated for Best Single at The Brits.

Its been selling around 12k per day with about 5k or more daily stream points to add. JA is slowing so the sales portion is probably down to 10k daily now but streams are the same.

The Top 20 singles have sold above 750k so not sure if this track has enough time to make it. The video will get a nom if the Brits keep it in.

Yes, I don't think I 'll make both. I know someone who knows the promoter though, if tickets are needed.

The album will leak one day.

Its catchy as hell and people all around the world seem to be digging it. Even better they can relate to it.”

Pop classic and just not a copy of all the melancholy around at the moment, JA included.

The more I listen to SOTME, the more I hear Baba O'Riley in the chorus.

Pop classic in the making.

Those Drake tracks are seriously naff. Nothing to them at all. It's not just me that thinks it this time either, from looking at r/hiphopheads.

I mean that's the US.

I was simply talking about the UK. I've heard these two songs now from snippets on iTunes and they're nothing special.

I hope so. This category is voted by fans though isn't it? Bet it will be won by Zayn - silly teenage girls ruining the votes again thinking they actually have a chance with him. Gosh I am so bitter. I must lighten up more
