Well, I'm hyped for an album of Purcell. She produces easily remembered tracks you can really go to town on singing.

I guess Drake wont be a threat after all this week. Although both the surprise tracks are sitting at the top of iTunes in the US, in the UK he has one around #15 and its not exactly lighting up downloads.

What a fantastic start its had. For anyone worried about the US iTunes position, remember that Black Magic, with radio play, spent most of its iTunes life outside of the Top 100 except for that heavy promo week beginning with the Taylor Swift concert. This track with absolutely nothing to drive it except the video has spent an entire week Top 40. Its at #40 right now.

Also if you're worried they are missing the boat, I believe Ace of Base I Saw the Signs was held back from the US for months and it still shot to the top when they finally pushed it. If radio picks it up even a little I'm sure this song could really help the planned single later on.

Told you those tracks were weak. So obvious it was easy to call after a single play. Sterile, dead, no hooks... I mean I've been bored of him for a while now but now he seems to be losing it musically. Even his last couple hits took longer and longer to grow on me.

Everything looks hunky-dory on US iTunes right now but if he does a couple of releases like that, it won't be the case anymore. There won't be some big uproar, his fans will just move on to new artists that actually do connect with them.
