Confirmed!

The lead single from forthcoming fourth album Glory Days logged an impressive 61,400 downloads and over 5.03 million streams to claim the throne as the UK's biggest song for the second week running.

And Black Magic should climb for Halloween parties this weekend.

Hopefully people add it their spotify playlists for Christmas and it creeps up the charts. I'm sure I'll be giving it a few spins in the run up.

It's also funny how the regular LMLY is more christmassy than the Christmas version lol, so much for adding bells

Sounds like Meghan to me.

I'm finding the same thing. This era so far has been a nice confirmation of my theorizing that really most tracks with clean melodies and a reasonable set of changes should be highly addictive if sung with full emotional connection/openness by the performer. So far they've been bang on with that, compared to the patchiness of GW. I think I could pick on a couple of very minor adlibs on these first two tracks and that's literally it. They've really nailed it down now (not that it's something you can really nail down, it's forever challenging.)

The addiction reflects the fact that it's gotten under your skin as it did theirs, aka being "shook." It's doing things to you, in the background.

lovely to see most of the recent comments on the video being about the song rather than about the girls!

And when it's about them there's a lot from casuals:
"They're a slighty more talented and hotter version of Danity Kane. That short fat girl in the black top even looks like Aundrea from DK"

Germany has always been receptive to girl groups, so it's definitely a positive sign that Little Mix have finally charted there. Perhaps the touring helped.

Is the 5.03 million UK streams what was allowed to count for the charts, or in total? Because I think its limited to 70 per week per user isnt it for charting?

LittleMix shuts down not-so-manly men with #YouGottaNot.

This is silly, it's obvious the lyric means the boy needs to grow up, it's referenced throughout the song. It has nothing to do with being masculine, but rather them not having to "babysit" him.

Isnt this song just another version of Going Nowhere with "that XBox thing"? (I havent heard it yet, holding off on instant grats).

Quite a surge in sales for Get Weird! Up from the 2000s.”

This is just as impressive as the success of SOTME. I wonder how long Get Weird will chart inside the top 100......The release of Glory Days will probably boost it yet again

they asked for this honestly, I'm sure the lyrics aren't meant to mean that but there are just so many things there that could get picked on by the media and downgrade their image, it baffles me how no one stopped it.

Which thematically is one of the most common girl group song types? I dont get what everyone is reading into these lyrics. Its not deep, people. The amount of tears being shed over this throwaway song is mind boggling.

When LM comes out with an album of political protest songs, then assign some deep thoughts to the lyrics.

YAAAS! I think the last few weeks have just been crazy and as cringeworthy/soppy as it sounds but I couldn't be more proud to be a Mixer!

These catch songs are gonna win them a bigger audience. As long as they can balance them with strong ballads and mid tempos then we should have a lovely cohesive body of work on our hands with Glory Days.
