Obviously I want SOTME to have a third week at number 1

It would be amazing if it was number 1 longer than three weeks to be honest. Does anyone know what the longest reigning number 1 is by a girl band in UK chart history?

Wow maybe they can get a fourth week at #1. These are the announced releases next week, it seems a little short.

Friday 4th November

The 1975 - She’s American
Ed Harcourt - Loup Garou
Jean Michel Jarre & Pet Shop Boys - Brick England
Shawn Mendes – Mercy

1 Little Mix - Shout Out to My Ex
1.0000
2 Clean Bandit - Rockabye (feat. Sean Paul & Anne-Marie)
0.6095
3 Bruno Mars - 24K Magic
0.5778
4 James Arthur - Say You Won't Let Go
0.5826 (combined)

No one even close to LM on iTunes.

Ooh so someone on the brazilian forums has a mediabase account and answered a request to check SOTME's audience (I think?), it's 0.391 as of yesterday

Probably from those occasional fan voted plays. They need to be near 2 million to get on Top 50 radio.

@LittleMix #shoutouttomyex is the first time in the German radio 😍😍😍😍❤️proud af

Hmm Hits 93 Toronto has played the song 4x today. I think its only a web station though.

So one of the Swiss radios I sent mails about #SOTME just answered me and they'll play the song ! So proud 🇨🇭📣 @LittleMix

Spotify seemed to have updated the numbers earlier today so hopefully these may not be the full numbers.

Three I know are 'Wannabe' by The Spice Girls - 7 weeks and 4 weeks no 1 in the US, 'Sound of the Underground' by GA - 4 weeks and 'About You Now' by Sugababes - 4 weeks no 1.

There may be others.

Spotify

UK
1 Say You Won't Let Go by James Arthur 386,714
2 -1 Shout Out to My Ex by Little Mix. 365,126

US
49 -1 Shout Out to My Ex by Little Mix 281,887

Australia
11 +1 Shout Out to My Ex by Little Mix 104,236

Global
20 = Shout Out to My Ex by Little Mix 1,564,163

Sunday streaming globally is lowest in the week.

Edit: Now I see how useful it is to track both actual streams and position in the field as
http://www.spotontrack.com/track/sho...-my-ex/3196136
does. SOTME's streams fluctuate but its positioning is very level. It even rose in Germany.

Could this be LM's final appearance on Aussie XF?

The X Factor in doubt after just days after Seven axed Dancing with the Stars

WILL this be the last year of The X Factor? That looks a distinct possibility after the Channel 7 singing show scored its worst-ever ratings last night.

The X Factor averaged a dismal 676,000 viewers across the five capital cities — its lowest figure in eight seasons. It was hammered by rival The Block which averaged 1.175 million.

The result comes just days after Seven announced the end of another entertainment stalwart — Dancing with the Stars.

”

I wonder if they have also been putting dismal acts through like here.

I dont give a hoot about XF itself. What I do care about is where LM could get a tv spot if its off the air. What other show could they get booked on?

The article also makes me wonder if their appearance got moved in a counter programming effort to boost ratings. Are they already busy Nov. 13 weekend?

What ever happened to variety shows?

Is it all just conveyor belt talent shows throughout the Western world?

I've been waiting for someone to do a drum cover of SOTME, this is cool.

Why just on tour? Why don't they use real musicians on record?

They have 4 musicians already.
DreC

Have you ever read their album credits? they actually do use real musicians for example Wings had an actual horn section, they just don't use them not all the time, I would prefer them more however.

That's all I'm saying, really. Cost tends to be the problem in using musicians all the time, I suppose.

I mean I also like electronic music a great deal but it needs to be pure electropop or the like, using electronic instruments as electronic instruments not as electronic analogues for the real thing.
