Tracklist to be announced tomorrow on NOW's Facebook page. I think they will have it on. I seem to remember Black Magic getting a NOW boost.

Yep thats him! I dont see his comment as negative? I actually agree with him on the second verse, I tend to skip that part.

And here is your laugh for the day.

Funny but my reaction was: oh, they're running ads for it on Youtube outside the UK, eh?

Could be worth it, they seem to convert fans at a relatively high rate and they monetize their conversions well.

In any case, Billboard BREAKDOWN is filmed - stay tuned!

The suspense!

He was not a fan of Tove Lo's album.

I hope its not so intense that they compromise their performance.

They havent put in any M&G packages. I wonder if they wont, if they're going to be busy doing radio visits during the day.

Yay for more visuals! I hope more choreography doesn't mean less live vocals and more dancers instead of a live band. If yes, then they can keep it.

I guess I have a different definition of "stripped back".
Well Jesy also said "think Beyoncé" (bless Leigh-Anne for chiming in with "and Rihanna"). So I think less or no props like the ADIDAS chairs, bunny ears, phone etc.

If they are using Beyonce's recent tour as inspiration then the tour should have PERSONAL tour videos on screen like never before seen footage, great balance of dancing and singing and most of all, a live band.

I think Jonathan Ross is pre-recorded on Wednesdays.

Nov 3rd: Norway
Nov 6th: EMAs??? (please!)
Nov 9th: Jonathan Ross (on air: Nov 12th)
Nov 18th: Children In Need (UK)
Nov 25th: Switzerland
Nov 26th: Free Radio Live (UK)
Dec 1st: Barcelona

Not sure when they're going to be in Australia.
Seriously why can't they get a frickin performance slot at the EMAs? They are coming a great European tour from earlier this year AND a hit song!

Give these girls a performance!

I was kinda underwhelmed tbh. Most of it's very low-key, and while she exposed a lot lyrically I didn't feel she was really emotionally present for most of it, nor does she have the overwhelming star power to make up for it. It's nice but there's nothing to draw me back, I'm afraid.

This is a wild hare.

LITTLE MIX INTL ‏@LITTLEMIX_INTL 6h
There are rumors that Little Mix have planned to perform at Jimmy Fallon and also at Radio Disney while in the US (via @KeepingUpWithLM)

@envy_the_dead
My colleagues need to switch to Absolute radio. If I hear the new Little Mix song one more time I will pull out my own ear drums.

Blanket those airwaves girls.

if they happen to do Fallon's show it'd be bloody amazing if they did an acousticperformance the artists sometimes do with the Roots

i mean we haven't obviously heard the acoustic version of SOTME yet but it should be great (Hair actually let me down that way tbh) - and if it happens next year and they're promoting Touch instead- that one actually has an acoustic version

something like this would be way too cool

Ugh. This interview with Kimberly Wyatt of PCD just highlights why I always thought that group was a freak show. How cynical and contrived. "We were always told we were replaceable". "They wanted it to be a brand that would consistently make money". I'll take LM with their clunky lyrics and sincerity.

I have to admit I'm now hoping the Ariana collab isn't true, if Touch is really good I'd rather see them have it just for themselves, they deserve it

I think a lot of people are presuming too much on this particular Touch track. We'll have to see.

Mr. Spectrum Pulse is really defending SOTME.

Mark Grondin ‏@SpectrumPulse 8h
Okay, just checked out this lead-off single from Little Mix...

How is this even still a competition, people?

TechJet ‏@T3chJ3t 8h
@SpectrumPulse I personally thought Shout Out to My Ex was total garbage
and their promotional single You Gotta Not was even worse

Mark Grondin ‏@SpectrumPulse 7h
@T3chJ3t a little jittery and heady, and the first verse is kind of stiff, but it builds well. Not better than 'Black Magic', but still good

TechJet ‏@T3chJ3t 7h
@SpectrumPulse "stiff" is an understatement. One step away from an audio nightmare. Not to mention bitchy & catty.

Hook is decent tho.

Mark Grondin
‏@SpectrumPulse
@T3chJ3t see, I don't view it as all that catty. It's a sarcastic kiss-off, and yet it doesn't wish the girl Zayn's now with any ill will.

@22Baxman 16m
@SpectrumPulse how did you not find SOTME completely insufferable? "Hope she ain't fakin' it like I did, babe." Makes WDTA sound mature

Mark Grondin
‏@SpectrumPulse
@22Baxman honestly, it's a matter of tone. It doesn't ring as obnoxious in the delivery so much as more casual kiss-off.

When I hear the lyrics to that particular part, it feels like a non event to me so its not even a big deal. It looks more important on paper.

Well, PCD honestly was always kinda Nicole & backing dancers, wasn't it? Funny they didn't manage to turn it into a "brand that would always make money."

The replaceable members thing has been big in J-Pop for nearly a decade now, and unfortunately seems to be making some inroads in other Asian countries as well. I'm not really here for it, I'm only interested in groups that have significant chemistry that they're actively developing.

Yeah but it irks the heck outta me that some hold PCD up as some sort of gold standard, then dismiss LM as inauthentic when they are probably the most authentic pop group I've seen for a few years.

No radio play from SF tonight (my ears have been tortured over an hour waiting) but Cleveland did play SOTME tonight.

69. 'Shout Out To My Ex' by Little Mix - so now we come to the other act who has gone to #1 in the UK, and up until now the biggest charting success for Little Mix in the Hot 100. Now I've actually been looking forward to their upcoming fourth album - still on Syco, so not a lot of high hopes the production will get better, but maybe they'd be able to give Fifth Harmony some stiff competition? Well, stiff was definitely the world I'd use to describe the first verse of this song, with that clunky grinding tone paired with the popping tone, but by the time the acoustic guitar slammed into the hook, the song started growing on me significantly, almost having the feel of a folk-pop song. And man, isn't it nice to hear a girl group who are all consistently strong singers and aren't having to compensate for the significant weaknesses of one member, or who can actually harmonize on the hook, or who are willing to open up with some great belting? Of course, most of the credit here I'm giving to Perrie, especially when it comes to the writing - as a giant middle finger to Zayn I have to admit I enjoyed the hell out of not just the assertion that she was faking it the entire time, but also that the girl he's now with is actually getting it better - hey, why deprive her? So yeah, as a kiss-off in the teen pop mold, Little Mix prove that they're head and shoulders above the competition yet again, and have me looking forward to the record... even if it's got a guest appearance from Charlie Puth. Eh, we'll burn that bridge when we get to it, next!

I find J-Pop and K-Pop overly manufactured and I feel that is why this music has had limited impact in the U.K.
