On next years Strictly I say make Craig head judge and move him to the centre of the table but replace him with Jason Gardiner as the new panto villain of the panel.

His acid tongue almost defrosted Dancing on Ice and I think he would be a perfect fit for the Strictly panel.

Does he have any ballroom and latin credentials.

We need at least one expert on those.

God no.........!!!

I understand your reasoning but I'd like to have a real ballroom expert who will deliver an unbiased and honest review

How refreshing that would be

He can dance but I'm not sure which style he's an expert in.

No thanks! He's like a genuinely nasty version of Craig, without the nicer side.

Jason would be a terrible choice.

"Defrosted" is an odd euphemism for "ruined".

Who in their right mind would think that ascerbic Jason Gardner would be a good judge on Strictly???
He's not even a ballroom or Latin dancer or even a top notch choreographer like Craig.

This idea should qualify for "joke of the day,"

Sorry! I meant "post of the day."

He ruined Dancing on Ice and should have been fired. He would ruin Strictly too if he was ever allowed anywhere near it. I would rather he stayed under the rock that he has crawled under.

Absolutely not. Awful judge. I thought he was far to personal on DOI and was disappointed when he was reinstated

What about Matthew Cutler?

Ruined Dancing on Ice? No, no, no Jason WAS Dancing on Ice. When he was fired the show fell apart and that is why he was brought back.

Jason Gardner = ratings, he's a huge draw and would bring millions more viewers to Strictly.

The show did not fall apart without him. I will never understand why they brought the cretin back. He doesn't win ratings (although I wouldn't mind seeing him eating widgety grubs on I'm A Nonentity). If he were to be brought onto Strictly viewers would leave in droves and X Factor would reign supreme.

He was sacked because of that row with Karen Barber but the following series the ratings started to drop and the bosses had no choice but to bring him back.

At which point the ratings rocketed back up by an average of a spectacular minus 300,000 viewers.

He should have been sacked long before that. The bosses had every choice - they could have hired Craig Revel Horwood to do the job!

A) Strictly already is the highest rated show on Saturday night.

B) You clearly only watched DOI for the *reality* element as he was a cretinous Judge who knew nothing about Skating, and a nasty individual.

To say he "WAS" DOI....? Jeez! Who were Torvill and Dean then? Muppets?

Jason Gardner has only one mode, which is destructive and bitchy. He told one contestant on DOI that she looked like a piece of pooh being flushed down a toilet. It's bad enough hearing about Len's pickled walnuts, but Strictly can do without that kind of deliberate trolling for headlines.

No, I'd stop watching if Jason Gardiner was on the panel - I can't stand him.

Matthew Cutler is an excellent suggestion though!
