No, no, a 1000 times no. He's far too 'performance ' based, so likely to score like CRH.
SCD does need a new ballroom/Latin expert, ideally an up to date one.
There was a lovely pic on twitter last week of Lilya, Matt + Ian judging a world championship.
I don't follow any of them but couldn't resist tweeting back that any of these 3 would be a great replacement for Len.
Lilya even replied, simply said 'thank you'

Exactly, a horrible man. Craig apparently speaks to all the dancers off stage and gives them advise etc. Jason on the other hand was just supposed to walk off afterwards and not speak to anyone.

Years ago on another forum I chatted with an Aussie dancer who had worked with Jason and Craig on a Tour of La Cage Aux Folles, and his verdict was that Craig was a lovely warm funny person whilst Jason was a nasty piece of work.

So make the judges nastier and it would bring millions more viewers to SCD.
Which kind of viewers / audience do you mean?

The ones who scream and shout "off, off off "at some unfortunate young men and women / standing up in their seats with their thumbs down like the Christians v the lions of Roman times shouting contestants numbers for elimination

Instead of the dance off we could have the 6 chair challenge- all good entertainment as youngsters sit crying etc

Forums spewing out pure unadulterated vitriol ( now and again constructive criticism goes out of the window on this forum we know)

Maybe because SCD is not like this , is the reason for it's success.

Len's best mate Anton is probably the best bet, he has a good personality and has more dance experience than Len.

Given that Len has 'retired' from SCD but carrying on with DWTS for the big bucks in the States I hope that the BBC cancel all further TV and radio work with him.

Jason Gardiner is just awful, he should not be considered whatsoever.

I'm gonna say no.

I vote for Grumpy Cat to replace Len. 😾

This IS a joke isn't it?
Remember when he told that former Olympian swimmer Sharon Davis(sp?) that she looked like a skating turd?
Craig may be acerbic but at least he has style

I agree, Matthew Cutler would be a great choice

The worst idea so far. Give me ten Karen Hardys over this twonk. (I really don't want Karen.)

He was never intelligent enough to be endearing. He thought he could be the Craig of Dancing on Ice, but he was just rude with no redeeming features.

I do miss Dancing on Ice but at least I haven't had to see his face for a long time. If he was good at anything he would've found other work, but luckily for us, he hasn't.

Craig does seem genuinely lovely when not 'in character'. I would love to go to lunch with him

I thought when you said Jason Gardiner you were on about the choreographer guy on the show, isn't he a Jason? Aussie lad....you know him. He'd be good

I think Jason blotted his copybook by personally insulting celebs, bullying Karen Barber, and criticising a lift on DOI that, although it was there in rehearsals, had been taken out. It seems that he hadn't even noticed - you could feel him squirming after being caught out.

Yes, I have heard this as well. Craig can be very harsh sometimes with his judging, but he does usually end his comments on a positive rather than a negative. And I've heard accounts that after the show, Craig speaks to the celebs at the bar and is a genuinely nice guy.

Jason on the other hand didn't end his comments on a positive and was insulting and nasty. Some of his comments include likening Sharron Davies to "faecal matter" and that Kelly Holmes looked like a man in drag. He didn't speak to the celebs afterwards either. He also clearly favoured some celebs over others and clearly didn't like some others. One series, he wanted Matt Lapinskas who appeared in Eastenders and actually said this in the final and for whatever reason, he didnt like Beth Tweddle and wasn't happy that she won. You could tell by the look on his face.

When he was brought back, he was arrogant enough to say in interviews that the show missed him and that it would be better again with him in it. For one thing, the series he wasn't in was much better without him, and the viewing figures actually continued to go down when he came back.

So, no, I definitely do not want him to join Strictly.

NO PLEASE GOD NO.

I loathe that man. He would have the sole capability of making viewers switch off.

He was nasty generally but he used to reserve particular venom for sportswomen. Beth sadly gets a lot of nasty comments on social media regarding her looks & whilst she was on DOI Jason liked some of these tweets. And this from a man who was an ambassador for an anti-bullying charity - you couldn't make it up.

Strictly needs him like a hole in the head.

No, I do not want Jason Gardiner on the panel, what does he know about Latin and Ballroom dancing?!

Worst suggestion ever.

Strictly doesn't need unpopular judges from flop shows to drag it down.

NO WAY !
As some have said Anton may be the best replacement for Len (although I personally can't stand him). Many of the past pros - Ian Waite, Karen Hardy etc could be fabulous too. Just not some nasty guy like Jason Gardiner.

No just no! He gets too personal with 'critiques'.

Who will the next suggestion be? Donny?

No, don't bring him in, find a retired champion dancer to replace Len.
Mind you I would be happy for it to be Ian Waite
