Hopefully the Spoiler thread for week 5 will return to being the light and fluffy place it used to be. To this end, I will need lots of help.

I do not have the contacts AM has.
I cannot add guess times during the show (I also watch Casualty afterwards) .
I won't text results to people who cannot see the thread. With mobile technology these days, this should be less of an issue.
I get craft moments, so Amethyzt has kindly offered to double check the spoiler times for accuracy.

I have had offers of help with the list both running and checking. This may need to close just before the show, but I do not think that will necessarily be a bad thing. After all everyone does like to watch the show or why else are we here.

So anyone who wishes to offer further help please do. All are welcome

Meanwhile, if anyone is going to the show this week and would be our mole, please PM me. Alternatively if anyone has friends who have tickets and will pass on the information, please let me know, so that FM can directly post results to the thread and be acknowledged as a sound source.

If anyone has tickets they cannot use, I know someone who has been trying unsuccessfully for years in the ballot and does not need a hotel, and can pass on the details.

Meanwhile, I sincerely hope AM will feel able to return, particularly if we stop accepting guess times after 6:30pm.

Whatever happens the welcome mat is out and the door will always be open.

With regard to closure of the list. I think it would be fine to close it before the show on Saturday or even a cut off of , say, 4pm Saturday to allow organisers to have a breather before the show starts.
It is up and running from Friday, so that should give everyone time to call in.

I don't think there would be any objections to closing the time list early. Trying to run it during the show will just affect whoever is running it then's ability to enjoy the show. Believe me it is very hard to watch the show while keeping one eye on things going on on a laptop/tablet at the same time

I can do the time list on Friday up until around 1.30 pm when I go to work and then on Saturday on and off (errands, shopping etc permitting) until show time if that helps.

I think closing the list before the show starts is an excellent idea. Most people have made their guesses by then anyway.

I can do time list Friday night and then hand over for Saturday as I'll be sleeping for my night shift

Well done Mona and all who help to make it happen -and of course big thanks to Abigailsmum for all her hard work- and I think it only fair to you to close the time-guessing early- you have as much right as anyone to be able to enjoy watching the show -and live your life!- as hassle-free as possible.
As with all volunteer jobs- it's always WAY more complicated and time-consuming than it looks.

I live two miles from the studio, so if you are ever desperate, I can go there and accost someone coming out.

We have a mole! Unfortunately she's having issues accessing her DS account. So if she can't get it sorted, she's going to text me the spoiler and I can pass on or post it (from work mind you so shhhh!)

Just wanted to add my thanks to all the people who make the spoiler possible.

As for the list, I am fine up to 6pm on Saturday + stragglers.

One thought I did have to possibly make life easier is to have 10 minute slots with 25 people per segment. A bit like how Johnnys Arcade does the betting. Just to make life a bit simpler or less fraught when people get double booked.

Alternative ideas are welcome. Seems no need to stick to what we have always done, if better ideas are out there.

Excellent idea regarding shutting the time game as the programme starts - it gets very busy as soon as it starts and this would enable everyone to enjoy the show.

I've got crap IT, as you know. But happy for my personal mobile number to be shared with any mole to post result, for when the usual folk can't post it. In fact, if I can help in anyway that doesn't involve IT (like the time list - my old iPad can't cope with that!) please consider me.

Hopefully, IT issue won't exist if my other half gets me a new iPad for Christmas. I'm dropping enough hints, fgs, so if he doesn't bite, I give up!

I am mostly okay to run the list Friday evenings and Saturdays but may have to drag Mr Ogg out next Friday 28th for his Birthday (it is actually on Saturday but nothing comes before Strictly)

If the mole does get their own account sorted can I suggest you make Monaogg aware of who they are by PM. The spoiler thread does occasionally have a tendency to not believe spoiler posts unless they have come from the thread organiser or a recognised mole and I would hate for that to happen to your mole
