No problem at all! I always watch the performances again on YT anyway after the show while waiting for the spoiler

Thanks to all who are handling things this week (and possibly week to come) - very good of you to give up your time. It's very much appreciated by all of us who want to know the result Saturday evening. Do hope Abigailsmum enjoys her date night and comes back to join you as well.

It's started off as we all wish it to be - let's hope it stays that way and we don't get a repeat of last week's "war" for any other reason.

Sorry I can't be of help.

Everyone think "happy, happy, happy".

I'm delighted that the spoiler thread is to continue and thank you to all who've given me so much fun over (for me) the past few years - well, back to the latter part of AR's era, really.

But could I - in a totally supportive way - say that if there's ever a car crash like last Saturday / Sunday, those of us entirely content with our spinny chair forays, virtual tots of Calva and / or Cognac and even the odd courgette (and I know whether I'd have stuffed a few of those on Sunday morning)... we do not have to participate. We can sit on our hands while scrolling on by - or reporting offensive posts / posts with personal attacks to the mods.

It doesn't damage the Spoiler (or any other gently bonkers thread ) if the militant tendency stride in. Their behaviour only works if the more reasonable posters give them the breath of life via responses. Ignore and they'll bicker amongst themselves, get no satisfaction from that and retire. Challenge them - however logically and reasonably - and... we get a thread like the one last week.

The behaviour of the few does not (have to) affect the regular majority. The behaviour of the few does not reflect on the thread itself, its organisers or the regular contributors. The majority enjoy all the daftness as they wait for the spoiler to come in. If it irritates the few... well, I don't really care and I can't see why anyone else would. I said on Saturday night that each week the spoiler is late in, the Spoiler thread almost breaks DS... as far as DS is concerned, I'm sure, that is incredible Saturday night traffic for the site and very welcome. And from what the DS Mod said, the Spoiler Thread in all it's gently bonkers glory, isn't going anywhere unless the organisers pack it in. So please don't.

Spoiler Organisers are right to feel a bit miffed if the thread goes decends to nastiness but all in all, those who prefer the lighthearted community should not ever feel they need to defend that fact by responding to naysayers... what AB, Monaogg and the gang are doing is clearly what the majority wants. We can all afford to ignore the complainers - who, if they make it personal, are only deliberately looking to provoke a reaction anyway. Just ignore.

See y'all on Saturday evening.

Good points well made.

Thinking back I was as guilty as anyone by not recognising some non spoiler regulars wading in with a particular agenda and responding to their posts.

I am sorry I don't understand your post. Who is the majority? Who is the minority?

Just don't wear a mole costume and a sign around your neck saying "I am a mole". The BBC might not let you in

Thanks in advance for getting the mole for Saurday night. Many thanks as always to Monaogg and AM and all those who arrange for us to have the spoiler every weekend.

As to the proposed change in time slots, anything that makes life easier is fine by me Monaogg.

See you all Saturday to book my slot, I'm so pleased the thread will continue and hope AM comes back to us.

I've just caught up with all this and it makes me so sad. Abigailsmum has been heroic in getting us the accurate spoiler, even if there isn't a mole. She doesn't have to - she could just keep it to herself. Why can't people be reasonable?

Thanks to the mole - have a great show. And many many thanks to everyone else who works so hard for us Strictly-ities. You are more appreciated than you know.

I promise the thread organisers - Monaogg, davethorp and the others - that, if someone makes a comment that I don't agree with in future, I won't respond so none of you feel unappreciated. Hope others do the same and abigailsmum will see that everything is back to normal and return to join us.
