I recently took out a contract with EE, I was told by someone at my work that the company gets a 20% discount with EE, when I phoned EE they said this would only apply if I stated that when I took out the contract, and I would need a code from my employer.

Has anyone gone through this process?

AFAIK you have to put the code in at the checkout when ordering online, and the Perk discount is only available with online sales - not in store or via phone.
It can't be added afterwards.
Neither can it be added for existing customers upgrading their contract.

Are you still within the original contact cancelation period? If so you could cancel and take out a new contract? (though might lose a number).

Vodafone are similar (though it's a benefit I personally aren't using after poor experiences!).. though there the discount is applied post-sale within 30 days - and only to direct sales not via a 3rd party

I am a member of an NHS discounts website that allows us a 20% discount on contracts only online and we have to put a code in at the checkout to get said discount, obtained through the NHS discounts website after logging in.

My brother gets a discount via his employer on Vodafone. I think its 10% on contracts and 20% on sim-only (if above a certain amount a month, if less the discount drops to 10%). WIth them once you have taken out your contract, you have 30 days to register to get the discount. Hes also allowed to register 5 friends/family to get the discount.

Not sure how you register etc.
