Itchy armpits after shaving help
After shaving under my arms - it often itches. I'm not using a dull bade so am unsure why this is happening. Is there a sort of after shave for women for this? Maybe a cream or balm someone could suggest?
If any one knows of a cream/balm that works for sensitive skin that would be a life saver. |

Aftershave is astringent (irritating to the skin - ?) isn't it?
As a guy I don't use it for that - it makes my sensitive skin much worse if I rub it in to my chin after after I shave! I get lumps where I've shaved and general irritation. I use it (or EDT) for body misting and a nice aroma only. Have you tried something like coconut oil (it's also antibacterial, but you have to wait a little while for it to be absorbed because it's an oil) or (I don't know much about this but have heard good things) milk of magnesia? <edited to add> Try something alkaline and gentle rather than harsh and acidic like aftershave. |
