If I had to narrow it down, Pixie & Georgia were both the most watchable performers for me

Yes for me too. Not just for the dance but for the atmosphere, the styling, the story ,his journey, their journey, the latent anticipation for tens, Karen's tears- the whole package made me laugh, punch the air, tingle and cry all at once.

Zoe and Ian's Tango is one of my all time favourites as well.

I loved her showdance to America, Ian's slip included! as well and her Paso Doble.

Also another of Ian's partners, Denise Lewis, loved her Paso Doble, and Quickstep.

Colin and Erin's rumba (Week 8 version) semi-final version, up until Jay and Aliona's, this was one of the few other rumbas I've even liked as it's my most hated dance usually, even from the professionals

Aled Jones and Lilia's Tango.

Julian & Erin's Quickstep, their Samba and the Showdance.

Mark and Karen's Argentine Tango as that came a bit out of nowhere and everything about it worked. Also loved their Viennese Waltz (Karen's dress was stunning).

Alesha and Matthew's Viennese Waltz. Also their Waltz.

Kara and Artem's pretty much anything but specially the Tango, original pink dress rumba, and their waltz in the final (when you now know what was going on behind the scenes with her injury and them falling in love, his face breaks my heart).

Natalie and Artem's Charleston, Viennese Waltz (even though it was mostly out of hold!) and American Smooth (the three dances I really felt some emotion from her connecting with the dance).

Mark and Iveta's Cha Cha Cha.

Patrick & Anya's Quickstep to Man With The Hex

Sophie and Brendan's Charleston.

From the days when Len cared about how many lifts there were in the American Smooth! Kelly & Brendan's.

And then I pretty much loved every one of Jay & Aliona's routines last year for various reasons but would highlight their Rumba, Tango, Paso Doble, Argentine Tango and Showdance as particular favourites.

I don't have just the one. If I had to pick an all time favourite, at this moment in time it would probably be Jay & Aliona's Tango.

I missed one from my list!

Oh and one of my favourite pro dances, the In the Mood Jive from 2010

And the 2007 Jitterbug with the uniforms! (Gethinwuzrobbed!) and Dirty Dancing Tribute group dances.

Oh and I forgot Austin & Erin's Paso Doble, probably my all time favourite of that dance!

Recently been watching the Alesha and Matthew dances again on YouTube. Definitely my favourite pairing of any series. Their Viennese Walz in particular is just dreamy, but as are all of them.

This also led to me remembering just how amazing Matthew Cutler was. None of the current pros are even close to the same league.

I really enjoyed that so it must have been entertaining because I really found it hard to like Artem.

It was lovely watching the preamble before the dance and a reminder that even great friends bicker at times. I loved her in that series.

I wanted her to win that year, I loved her and Ian's partnership and she turned in some really great dances.

This! Not the most perfect dance, but a magical combination of the music and interpretation. Utterly captivating, and the fact it's still one of my favourites after all this time must say something. Like others, Mark and Karen's AT was a benchmark dance - sure there've been some technically brilliant ones since, but this is my favourite.

Rachel and Vincent's rumba is unbeatable - not seen a rumba as good since. Again, we can all agree or disagree on technical 'perfection' but my favourite dances are those that I can't stop watching, like Alesha and Matthew's Viennese waltz, or Sophie and Brendan's charleston. That's why Ore and Joanne's jive now goes on my shortlist, along with Jay's jive from last year - I won't get bored of watching any of these dances!

Re-watching all these old clips again has reminded me of just how much I dislike the lighting they now have on the show- all spotlights'n'laser beams. Hate them. They just make it harder to see the dancers against an already busy background and with constant camera changes. I know the old lighting is "pedestrian" but it fulfils the brief of lights -hey!- letting us see. Don't tell me it creates mood -unless it's my bad mood- that's what the dancers and music do.

I know I go on & on about it, but nothing else about the show bothers me as much as cameras and lighting; not even krappie music.

I feel the same way. My favourite was their tango and also the crazy in love routine. Could watch Matthew Cutler dance all day long. It's a shame he is no longer involved with the show in some capacity.
