Two strange things:

I am locate in North Herts in the overlap of Crystal Palace and Sandy Heath. I take my signal from CP.

I have lost channel 8 and London Live , and now have Talking Solent on Channel 7. What is this all about ? I however have not lost Channel 8 [ or gained channel 7 ] on my Panasonic TV. I did a manual tune up on the TV last night and there was no change.

Weird ?

All of a sudden a whole raft of channels have appeared in the "300" range , each with three blue dots underneath them. This I believe denotes an internet delivered channel. And now my guide shows all the programmes on these previously hidden channels. If I click on one , it says it is not set up , but if I click here they will set it up but not charge me with out my permission.
IS this some crafty marketing ploy to get me to sign up to some sort of BTTV package ? or can I buy a single channel ? Sneaky

When did this software change get down loaded ? I only have regular broadband and not infinity

Do you mean "That's Solent" ? Which is the local TV service broadcast from the Rowridge transmitter on the Isle of Wight. It's on the same UHF channel as the local London mux from Crystal Palace so sounds like your box has decided to tune into that instead.

Possible if the atmospheric conditions were favourable. Does the box have a manual tune option? Not sure if they do. But if you could manually tune to UHF channel 29 chances are it would restore the London local service.
