EE Kim Fox
Are people a fan? I personally feel she is my least favourite character in EE as I find her always too quick to blame others for things and act immaturely. She was in it too much for my liking in Tuesday's episode.

I don't mind her when she's not over the top and is more serious - she was great when Pearl was born early. Although I prefer Denise.
Tameka described the driving storyline as a big storyline that is emotional for Kim but viewers would find funny. I really didn't expect it to take up so much screen time. http://metro.co.uk/2016/08/10/easten...utumn-6059960/ |

I find her as funny as nails being scraped down a chalkboard and having seen her brief spell on Strictly it seems as if she is not playing a character but just being Tameka using a different name. The ending tonight was one of the worst in a long time, was I the only one thinking 'I don't give two hoots whether you take your test or not! And I am not on the edge of my seat wondering whether she will/won't.'
I can understand why people find her funny but she is just irritating to me. |

Supporting character for Denise, she fine but serious stuff just doesn't work imo, this driving storyline is beyond boring and the big deal being made out of it is why some areas of EE still need working on.

Funny when she first arrived but they've played on it too much, she's now quite a pain unfortunately.

I like her better lately but she can be annoying a lot of the time. I'd still rather put up with her than Carmel though.

I just found myself shaking my head and saying "is she for real?" (in a character sense). Not only should she have not been driving but she took her eyes of the road. Then trying to blame someone else (without admitting in private that it was her fault) removes any sympathy for the character. No one gives a toss whether she drives or not. Given hire useless Kim is in general, I wonder why she's surprised that Vincent is honest with her. Total donut.

She's a nice break from the dark cloud that EE is.

Does anyone really care whether she passes her test or not? What a boring episode last night, she was in it far too much. Dreadful lazy, irritating character, swanning around in her ridiculous clothes, looking down her nose at everyone. Also, the way Vincent sucks up to her all the time , as if she was a catch or something.
In real life someone like him wouldn't give her a second look.

Kim is absolutely fine. Shows need a few larger than life characters and she works so naturally with Denise. Yes, she can be unpleasant and abrasive at times but I like that as it gives her a bit of an edge and is actually fairly realistic; quite often people with big 'wacky' personalities can be quite thoughtless. She's also the Queen Mother to Queen Pearl who is the best kid in EE by miles with her adorable, stroppy expressions and her impeccable sense of style, so by that standard alone I'm happy to hang onto Kim.

I don't mind Kim being a comedic character - when she got the ticket for parking Vincent's car in a bus lane and was trying to justify it to him was funny - but comedy does not have to equal idiot.
I like Kim, most of the time, but when she's written as a "comedy" idiot, as in this Driving Test nonsense, she is unbearable. Kim's supposed to be quite self-obsessed/vain so some of the story, like her insistence, despite all evidence to the contrary, that she is a gooddriver and the bump being Dot's fault, make sense but for some of it she's just plain stupid, for example the professional/provisional mix-up when I'm certain I've hear Kim use both words recently correctly. EDIT: I've just seen _elly's post and would agree that Pearl is adorable. |

I quite like Kim. To me she comes across as a loud and abrasive woman but she does seem to have self doubt too. I did feel a bit sorry for her yesterday, especially when she was sat on the bench with Denise.
Who couldn't see that accident happening though, as soon as she put her phone on the dash board I knew what was going to happen. |

A truly dreadful character played by an "actress" who, after appearing on Strictly, is clearly only playing herself.
I wish she'd get the axe, but at most she should only be a supporting recurring character. |

the whole driving thing is not much fun to watch. Kim as a character is OK in small doses, but I far prefer her sister, Denise. I also don't buy Kim & Vincent as a couple. I also disliked how rude she was to Dot.

Is she getting away with driving without having passed her test? Not a good idea for a story. Line if not.
