This AT is one of my favourites - I watch it often.

I loved Gleb's partnership with Anita as she seemed to add subtleties to his exuberance. That routine was just (to quote Len) "all fur coat no knickers".

A lot of the dances are overmarked on DWTS. The atmosphere is nowhere near as good as Strictly. But how did that dance get full marks

Actually this is the AT of the night that is getting the most buzz. (It is AT not ballroom tango even though the title says tango). And it did not get a perfect score. I don't know if Len would have liked it or hated it but it was the dance of the week on social media. I also don't know if this would be up to SCD superior standards or not. I imagine this would be a 7 or 8 on SCD with a lot of criticism? Edited to add Calvin is a football player.

Well there was a heck of a lot more dance content in that one. I guess this - and Glebs - are AT's even though the clips are marked as Tangos. And those lifts were something else. Did Glebs dance really get a perfect score - now that is confusing

Calvin and Lindsey got 9's except for one 10 from guest judge (doesn't really count - right - he doesn't know what he is doing). That is why I thought it would be a 7 or 8 by SCD's standards. Usually what is scored as a 9 or 10 on DWTS is a 7 or 8 on Strictly. Like James and Sharna's' QS. That would have been at most a 7 on SCD while he got 9s. . I find myself adjusting the scores after watching SCD.

I agree. Was that a tango or AT, it was just a sleazy showdance. I think Gleb was making the most of his partner being uninhibited.
I doubt any of the female celebs on Strictly would want to be so raunchy!

That was as messy as Gleb's choreography on SCD was. He really was very 'meh' imo with some 'special moves' that frankly looked laughable.

Hard to tell what the dance was supposed to be Tango-wise. Loved the first big lift.

That was awesome and miles better than Gleb's soggy (argentine) tango. That first lift deifies explanation . The pro must feel like a kid in a candy store when it comes to lifts her celeb could do literally anything. She also used the one leg back bend move from Danny and Oti's VW.

While that still wasn't what I'd call an AT, it did have a much bigger attempt at trying to be one!
The first lift was unbelievable (and out of place in an AT but still!) He did well given the obvious height difference in the two as well.

I think Gleb's dance is more to Bruno's taste and not surprised that he gave a 10.
I don't watch DWTS, so don't know much about the other judges, I know Len was not there. May be the other judges gave 10s, just for entertainment value and originality
( nothing to do with AT).

Official DWTS have tweeted saying Gleb's AT ' Hottest AT ever' ? With a pic of them in the shower. I will agree with that. I have watched it about 10 times now.

I thought it was dreadful, looked more like a contemporary hip-hop routine than anything else.

I wonder if Gleb left Strictly for DWTS for 1. More money, 2. Less criticism 3. His family didn't like Britain 4. Better partner

Very sad he did leave as I loved 99% of his choreography.
