James I think you should reply to those who are interested only.
I'd quite like a power cut murder episode |

Fabulous! those spoilers were gripping.
I found myself actually thinking "I can't wait to see this"....oh wait lol Cracking stuff all the same, I think it's time you get pen to paper and start scripting. You clearly have the imagination for it. |

Hi James-loving this. Please save Billy!!
I can picture in my mind what is happening, so it's just a shame that is the only place i'll see it! Maybe you could have audience participation, with a 2 or 3-option cliffhanger at some point, of who is going to perish-that could get the FM's chatting!! 😀 (Sorry you've obviously thought out already what is going to happen to who. I think we would all have our own favourites who would be heading for the chop). Maybe next time!! |

I don't know where the OP is from but being from Manchester myself I have to say I don't think a storm no matter which month it is would cause as much damage as is suggested, Emmerdale yes. A few loose tiles coming off a roof but even in a bad storm the structures of the buildings wouldn't cause as much carnage.
The scenario regarding Phelan and Vinnie i would think (expect) that story to be finished by then. I can't see how far this story can go with them fobbing/conning people off about block of flats not being built. What are they going to tell Rita, Sarah etc I. February about no work starting? |

Hi James,
I have stated a few times over recent weeks that I think stunts are unnecessary & I don't want characters killing off just for cheap ratings grabbing but you have really thought this one through well & I have every faith that if you were writing for the show the deaths would be handled well with far reaching consequences leading into another year's worth of storylines!! The storm idea I like as it is something Corrie hasn't covered before & the power cut would heighten the drama, as with the wonderful scenes in the Rover's in the immediate aftermath of the tram crash episode!! I confess when I first saw your idea I wasn't too keen on the idea of another big stunt but having read your spoilers so far I'm now intrigued & looking forward to your next instalment!! |

James J, it's suitably epic and involves a wide cross-section of characters. Well done! When are you posting Wednesday's episode?

I've plotted this whole week out now but the 'choose your ending' thing is a great idea, if I ever do any more I'd definitely be up for something like this. Quote:

Exactly. It's not like the houses in Manchester are made from sticks.
Anyway, I'm actually really quite overwhelmed by the response to this on the whole and really happy people seem to like it! More coming very soon! |
