Aaron's stuff was good and I knew the Jack retcon would be a probably for long time viewers and rightfully so. If they had left that part out the episode would have been perfect.

They could have had Robert discover his bisexuality offscreen. There was no need to involve jack at all

I'm not sure that itw ould of been perfect, Aaron was better than usual and like you said, its good that Roberts Bisexuality was addressed. However it just seemed a bit forced again, the episode was written by a "Robron" superfan and you could tell.

It is possible that Jack could have had a problem with it but since Robert and Jack were both on screen at the time this occurred it presents a big problem. So fans who were watching back will be upset because they saw nothing like that on screen back then.

Maybe proposal was over the top. I'm surprised either one of them wants to get married.

Monday's s ep had too much action for half an hour.

Even though Tuesday involved characters who wouldn't t be in my top ten I thought it was much better. I particularly liked the friendly chat between Paddy and Rhona. The comedy stuff wasn't t great but apart from that it was good.

I think the hype and expectation can leave me a bit underwhelmed with the actual reality of what i watch.

i enjoyed Monday's episode, but still didn't get that 'wow' feeling, and thought that last nights was just farcical at times, with everything crammed into the last five minutes.

I also feel that the next two nights are going to be the episodes to watch (especially James and Emma's), and hopefully they will be emotional and powerful.

Also, are we going to have Cher's song "Turn Back Time" at the beginning of every episode this week, and a variation on the same theme at the end of each one?

i enjoyed robert and arrons evening........ lachlan is a messed up so and so, i dont know why? .......... many single parents manage to bring up loving well mannered kids who know right from wrong, Chrissie however had the advantage of money to the equation so no excuse for raising such a pathetic son.

I'm kinda liking the way robron bring out the best of each other (which is how relationships should be) their still not perfect but they are on this interesting journey

........... Tuesday nights, OMG i can't really find polite words to describe it, i didn't enjoy it at all (and I love ED). Two grown men clinging onto each other in the woods was just plain embarrassing. I know the two actors get on extremely well and have this comedy thing going on, but as actors i would of expected them to go the producers/directors and say "your writing us like total and utter arses here" don't even get me started on the rabbit outfiits. Total negative for the episode#

Tonights episode if its James and Emma as i believe it to be, it should be great, she is a mental gripping and a fantastic actress !!! Gillian K has been a brilliant addition to the cast! and i know many find him boring, but i actually love James, hes just your regular 'neither young nor old farmer', and hes been a single parent for 20+ years. (women get the sympathy but you dont really see people crediting all those Dads out there who have been Dad/Moms...... he's the Jack Sugden of the soap to me, not particularly exciting, but he does have emotion when needed and a very grounded character.

I'm really really hoping its not James that cops it! Between him and Emma though tonight will certainly be fantastic compared to last nights rubbish.

Tonight is the one I'm not looking forward to, seem to be in a minority but I've had it with the "psycho Emma" thing. It's a shame only one person is dying because I'd like to see her and James gone most of those on the hit list.

One nutter is bad enough but the "psycho Pierce" one as well is too much. That said I did like seeing Marlon and Paddy clowning around like they used to, before they turned Paddy's character on it's head with the Tess thing.

If in doubt though, at the very at least the Ashley/Laurel chapter should up things both great actors and the writing for them is normally pretty good for them.

Up to now I haven't considered Pierce a psycho. He's jealous & enjoying having one over the guy who slept with his wife but there's no crime against that, it's no worse than alot of people do, and afterall Rhona is lying to him ALREADY in their relationship therefore only adding fuel to his fire, just proves you can have all the qualifications under the sun yet no common sense lol, you'd think her brains would tell her the relationship is not right if she's already lying...... The week may prove me wrong though and he may turn out to be a total nut job. Then again he may of simply run up to an RTA and tried to help someone and got blood on his hands in the process and he really is this genuine nice guy who is mad for Rhona and has jealousy problems......... Cant wait to find out

It has honked a bit, to be honest. Maybe it's just too ambitious, but it's been weird and not well put together at all. It reminds me of that Who Shot Robert special - all style, no substance, and basically a bit boring.

But hey, maybe things'll be better tonight. Bring on the Barton Joy.

I wasn't saying your wrong i'm just not seeing right now compared to cain charity and all the other nutters in that village, (but yes there's potential there, and I do actually think your probably right on this outcome )

I know some nice guys that are jealous of their partners and the attention they get from males, and rightly so as their partners are right flirting tarts who take their guys for granted cause they are far too soft and dent their confident in their process. (just as guys do with girls) they would never hurt them though and not nut jobs, jealousy can be minor or seriously screwed up....... Pierce is middle of the board for me at present but as i said Rhonas really not helping

Laboured storylines ( Robert proposing to Aaron ( uncool and hence very out of character to me) followed by Marlon and Paddy in the woods ( not funny) ) and very predictable ( and similar) endings.Boring rather than gripping I'm afraid overall.

Can't help feeling that someone has tried and failed ( so far) to be too clever in putting this all together and drawing it out in the way that they have.”

It's terrible. Last night especially was an annoying time wasting load of drivel.

I dislike Laurel as much as I dislike Aaron so won't be watching it, just like I didn't watch the Robron one.

If Aaron hadn't been in it I would have. I just couldn't bear to watch a whole episode with him in it like that. That's the good thing about this week - just watching episodes with characters I like in it I'm not going to watch tomorrow but will on Friday, just to find out who dies.

I'm not liking them either - none of them. Tonight's was just dreadful although I rate them both as actors. Just rubbish storylines. I love the Paddy and Marlon friendship and when they are on form, they are highly amusing, but my loathing knows no bounds for Pierce - raving controlling nutjob as far as I am concerned (female point of view though!)

Ohhh and Corrie is no better - has NIck not considered that David would smash every bottle of wine in that cellar?? He could bankrupt the Bistro in a few very short minutes.

Problem with me I think is that my brain is not wired like these characters!!

Fantastic stuff tonight, even if bonkers. Loved every minute and Gillian Kearney and Bill Ward are both doing a cracking job imo.
