PMSL ,, i'm loving this episode already ,, i think for all the reasons they didnt intend , its absolutely hilarious

I'm surprised the makers of the film Misery havent sued ,, rather than bring him a DVD of the Shawshank Redemption it would have been better if it was a DVD of Misery
Was misery a comedy?

So, how did he re-lock the door when he somehow got back to bed in record time?
Because he had a key

Oh god, she's in her wedding dress.
This is actually a mixture and Great expectations.

This is what Miss haversham would be like if she got her hands on the man who didn't turn up to the wedding

Bill ward looks genuinely petrified. The inspiration was obviously next week's scripts
Do you blame him

On the other hand Gillian Kearney may may a method Actress, now that would be scary

I've completely lost the plot.
Don't worry about it so has Emmerdale.

Wonder if they will ever find it again

What happened at the end my recording jumped when they were standing in the wood and it was suddenly the end credits.

Agreed! I loved every minute.

I don't know why NotCharlieStubbs gets such a hard time on here either, I think he's been great in this sl.
Actor was probably genuinely scared by GK's performance. I know I would be heh

Wot, and hitch a ride on one of them?

I wondered why he didn't take the car, but with one working leg would be difficult even if he was managing to through a forest and up and down stairs.

It was like an old Hammer House of Horror
I kept expecting Diana Dors to walk in, or something...

Analysis of last nights Emmerdale

Where even to start with this completely bonkers episode

1 Part Misery, 2 part Hammer House of Horrors more funny horror films and 1 part Carry on Screaming with Miss Havesrham from Great expectations if she had caught up with the man who rejected her on their wedding day.

Kwynne couldn't stop laughing all episode in a grippingly sort of way, best comedy in years.

Along with a truly great performance From Gillian Kearney playing someone who has gone stark raving mad.

Bill Ward may be mad from Wood but he looked Genuinely scared at times and who can blame him.

Notable bits of the episode

1) For someone with a breaking leg James mad it up and down the stairs several times like Usain Bolt

2) From someone with a broken leg James ran through the wood like a greyhound chasing a hare

3) Ppor Emma got her dress dirty with Chicken blood

4) Animals should stay away from Emma first a cat now a chicken

5) Did that van driver just jump the chickens outside the farm and leave without any acknowledgement that they had been delivered

6) Surprisingly violent for 7pm in the evening, especially James smashing the bottle over Emma's head.

7) If james survives and that's obviously a very big if then he's seriously going to need that leg looked at since he's probably smashed it to pieces

8) The barton boys were very easily put off visiting the farm weren't they

9) Having lived in north yorkshire fog really does come on that quickly

good episode if probably unintentionally hilarious
