So, I think we've been a bit misled with promotional trailers and such that have shown David driving away. One of the biggest puzzles about this whole thing is, how could David survive if he's in the car at the time? I know how, it's because he isn't in the car, he stays locked up in the basement. Also, I'm thinking Norris' skip is a big red herring.

Tonight we saw Tyrone working on David's car, establishing that the car is in the garage.
We know that the car is faulty, it could even be leaking petrol?
We know that the car itself has a dozen or so cans of petrol inside.

What if, that poster, who has constantly been saying that the disaster would be a car bomb going off in Kevin's old garage is actually correct, I mean, they're already half right, the car is basically a bomb, and it IS in Kevin's garage. Kevin's old garage has kinda lost its purpose now that he has the flashy viaduct garage, so what better way to get rid of his old one? It even brings up a whole new bunch of characters that could be endangered, from factory staff, to Rita, or Kevin. Maybe even Freddie who seems to be floating around without purpose?

If this is what actually happens, then...

Interesting.

Where would David be driving to though?

Unless David drives off in anger, before later returning?

I don't think David will get to the car at all, I think it will stay in the garage and accidentally be detonated.

Note: In this video, notice the camera seems to actively avoid showing the garage, by changing the angle

I like this idea. Do you think a death would be involved? We've just seen Kevin and Anna have happiness, could that be broken?

That's what I'm thinking, Kevin and Anna seemed to happy in tonights episode, traditionally, that a bad omen in soaps Especially how the shot stayed on Kevin, with him smiling.

If they kill Kevin it will be really big. A massive character with tonnes of history. Shame because I was starting to warm to them as a couple. Kevin has been absent a lot this year however. I don't think we saw him all summer.

I'd say it'd be more likely Freddie with Ty and Kev getting injured, but there is a possibility it could be Kev' with the surprise Kate Oates pulled at the start of the week it feel like its anything goes

But the trailer showed David tearing off from the garage? So he drives away in the car.

Could have been filmed as a bit of a red herring. If the car did go flying over Norris' skip it would undoubtable cause quite a large amount of damage to the upper half of the street, as we've seen in many pics that that part of the street looks the same as ever after the stunt. It is possible that David might drive away, but is persuaded to return and puts the car back where he found it though.

Remember the promotional blurb

Enlisting Nick and Sarah's help, a panic-stricken Gail sets about trying to pull David back from the brink. but what happens next in Weatherfield will have far reaching consequences for more than just The Platts.
Kevin's garage being destroyed would fit the bill.

I think Michelle or Leanne will be injured and one will lose their baby, just a hunch.

Could be Kevin, but not kill him off entirely. That actor seems to be struggling sometimes. He looks very rough as if he has been on a bender and then slept in his car before coming on the Set to mumble some lines. With massive black bags under his eyes.
Fair enough if you have problems, I am very sympathetic to anyone having a rough time. Might be an idea for him to take a step back. They wouldn't completely axe an actor who is having personal problems, I don't think. Unless they are showing up to work with two many sherrys under the belt.
Ironic, for a soap where alcohol and all day drinking features heavily in every single episode. I'd swear Erica was necking a glass of red for her Elevenses there with Liz that time last week.

I like that idea, and would certainly be more of a suprise than what is being expected.

Some big twist is essential to get people talking about Corrie

Can't see Kevin being killed...
Sophie just went on her break for 3 months and Rosie isn't back until Feb.
Surely they would return straight away if he died?

Car goes up the plank to the skip, turns over and careers along the street mowing down Sharif and killing him instantly?

Kevin's obviously not going to die.

Actually, I doubt anyone will die.

Having David responsible for someones death would surely mean he'd go to prison and be an absolute outcast on the cobbles for the foreseeable future though? It seems a bit ridiculous to heap even more misery on the poor lad!
