First time I've cried at Hollyoaks for years!
Been watching Hollyoaks for about 15 years now, and have cried many times over the years. However the last few years have just been filled with so much death that I just don't get emotional about it any more. It's just "oh there goes another one".
All that has changed with Jade. It's a refreshing change to allow us to really connect with a character and then have the storyline take a sad turn, rather than a shock death through murder etc.
Spoiler
Hollyoaks has escaped from reality so much lately that I've just accepted it as an American style OTT soap opera, but the teenage cancer thing has just really got to me because you know it does genuinely happen to nice people and there's nothing which can be done about it. Well done Hollyoaks for writing such a good storyline. (Better than I can write a post!) |

Iv not seen it yet as I watch ch4 pace but could tell from tonight's episode what would happen in first look.
The storyline has been done so well. I think I will be a bit emotional tomorrow. Apart from nutty Joanne Hollyoaks is really good at the moment |
