For the last few years they have released new Now That's What I Call Christmas albums out. This year according to Wikipedia there will be a re-release on vinyl 25th November. This is the original 1985 one.

Well I hope the list is complete and they don't omit a certain track, which is one of my fave xmas songs.

Disagree. It's a great single Christmas album, perfect to be played over and over again.

really?..... dunno about how old you are, i was 16 when slade and wizzard released their crimbo anthems - and at the time they were great.

but theres only so many times you can listen to a track, and whats worse about these crimbo tracks is that you have no say in where or when you are forced to hear them. and thats the main problem with these now overplayed, outdated, boooorrring tracks. because theyve been forced on us every crimbo for the last 40 odd years, they have lost all there appeal. they no longer inspire happy crimbo thoughts, but are now part of the mass hysteria, the forced 'fun', the consumermass crimbo has become.... great tracks ruined by overplaying.

apart from the beach Boys dud that's a very strong line up. But imagine the media "outrage" if Glitter is on the rerelease and making royalties from it

I'd bet my 300 grand house that he won't be. They just daren't include him. You don't ever find Queen on any Now Xmas releases these days. Wish they'd re-release it on cd too.

It's my favourite Christmas album - when you increase Christmas 'pop' albums to double-length, you invariably get double the duds in between the stuff you like.

I'd love for it to be released on CD and include 'the' track, which is possibly my favourite Xmas pop single.
