The Ashley stuff was brilliantly acted. The stunt itself I'm not that mad about

OMG! That was an amazing stunt. That is certainly a first for a soap. Nail biting and heart in the mouth stuff.
If they don't win an award for that I'll eat my hat. Roll on 30 mins for the next part cannot wait. |

I just sat like this at it 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
Even though I worked out last night what was gonna happen it was still a shock! Just a shame ashley didnt get a gull episode like the others before the crash. I Hope Pierce has croaked it. James must have. Hoping Ashley is ok that note on his arm 😢 |

Its been good. But probably one of the most unbelievable thing I've seen on a soap in a long time.
This is the sort of stuff I would expect from hollyoaks |

OMG I was literally sitting here gripping the sofa while all that was going on... It was absolute carnage.. Now who will survive.. I know Ashley does as there was a trailer of him walking along the road afterwards but he was the only one they showed the others we were left wondering.

Despite saying I wasn't going to watch tonight because I don't like Laurel I changed my mind because Ashley is one of my favourite characters and I'm so glad I did. That was amazing! I jumped a mile when James landed on Ashley's car! Congratulations to all concerned.

Credit where it's due that was incredible.
Just trying to work out how many characters were in that - - James - Ashley - Robert, Aaron, Lachlan - Paddy and Rhona - Pierce - The chicken van driver - Finns new love interest must have been in one of the cars - Finn? - Laurel, Doug and Diane? - Adam and Victoria? Were those last three cars involved or not? A huge number of people! |

I think we can agree that that's next year's British soap award for spectacular scene of the year in the bag already for Emmerdale.

So intense. I wasn't really expecting much after figuring out last night it was going to be a car crash - I didn't expect more than 3 at the most! They just kept coming and battering the life out of everyone.
Very nice touch to cut away from Rhona and then back to her with a face full of blood whilst spinning. |

Being an ancient I found it totally confusing. It was like a sort of Grand Theft Auto on speed. I was lost . It was a load of smoke and cars standing on end or in water and the odd character or two doing inexplicable things. I'm looking forward to finding out what all these kitted together cars are and who will be extracted in one piece from them.

Nothing comes close in terms of stunts and what they have done this week with the cinematic viewing.
Just another level to be fair. |

It looked like it belongs in a film but great viewing, can't wait for the second part.
