I think she might have did it because of Moira and James getting close. So her being a Nurse probably made it look like Holly took an overdose when really Emma gave her the drugs instead

I hadn't thought of this. Could possibly of happened.
It crossed my mind too, but then i thought that Emma was just obsessing about Moira when she mentioned Holly. Saying that though, nothing would surprise me now!
Why though? Emma found out about James and Moira after Holly died. So really she had no motive to killing Holly.
Emma was on holiday with James for the week leading up to and the week of Holly's death. Would've been a good twist though!
For a start, James and Emma were on holiday at the time and she had no reason to want revenge against Moira at that point.

Exactly. I don't believe it. We clearly saw Emma's world come crashing down and know the moment the shit hit the fan!
Emma also mentioned John dying and she certainly had nothing to do with that. I think she was saying that Moira even does grieving perfectly...hence James' obsession with her.
Emma could have given Holly drugs before she went on holiday. But Holly refused at first but then found the stash and gave into temptation. And thats why she overdosed

Why would she? She was perfectly happy before she found out about James/Moira at the hospital.

At the time of Holly's death, Emma & James were in a good place - talking about getting married, taking on Wyllies farm.
Have soaps really reached the point where EVERY thing has to have some sensationalist "twist" to it, that genuine storylines aren't acceptable by the audience anymore.
It really is a sad day for soaps if this is the case

Yes, when provoked or when she feels threatened. But at the time off Hollys death she was n holiday with James, and she was the happiest she had been since she joined the show.

No, they haven't and at the time Emma had no motive to go after Holly.
She had no motive to go after Holly anyway, her issue was always with James & Moira so if she were to kill anyone it would always be one of them - hence what happened this evening.
To add a sensationalist twist to the tale would ruin a perfect story.

Considering the show has no qualms about ripping off the film "Misery", Emma killing Holly seems perfectly plausible!

She may not have used the needle to inject her with it. But giving her the drugs makes her guilty

I wouldn't want Emma to be that evil as to kill holly out of spite. Its acceptable to be nuts and kill your spouse but not people's kids. Especially when ones your niece as well.
