Mel C
Mel C is really starting to come across as a ugly person. The lack of respect she is showing the other girls by refusing to join the latest Reunion . She then has a cheeck to say she is thinking about legal action because she is worried that only 3 of them will ruin the legacy erm excuse me Mel it is because of you there will only be 3 of them. She is always back tracking about the reunion as well saying she is unsure about rejoining then saying she wont.
Mel C needs to remember where she came from I think and if she doesn't want to do it then fine but don't spoil if for the other members who want to do it and the fans, What if any powers would she have if she tried to block the comeback? I mean she will still get money from the performances because she " co wrote" the songs didn't she? I think her ego is coming out and she is coming across rather ugly atm. |

Are you kidding?!? She doesn't owe the fans, the girls or indeed you anything. I respect her for sticking to her guns.

I think you find she does. Without the Spice Girls nonew of themy would be no where now absolutely no where so the very least the fans deserve is one last concert for all the support they have given the group. And she is still coming across as ugly. She is basically saying if I don't want to do it then none of you should. How is that fair?

She, like Victoria, has every right to turn down a reunion. She doesn't owe anybody anything and if she doesn't want to do it then that's fine.
She's said she respects their decision to do it and they respect hers to not (I'm not sure I believe that but she's putting a professional face on it). She hasn't been disrespectful to any of the members by turning it down, she just doesn't want to be a Spice Girl anymore. |

I'm not sure why there's so much hostility directed at her. Various artists refuse to reunite with their older bands all the time and there's not the same amount of venom directed at them.
I think in general the older groups that have the most success reuniting are more traditional bands where you have one person singing and the others playing instruments. It is easier for them to mature and be credible, whereas girl or boy vocal groups by their nature are more attached to a given time and are kind of pathetic and cringe inducing when they reunite. By the way, her new album Version of Me is out and it's amazing. It's a change for her to more of an electronic sound but with introspective mature lyrics. It reminds me of Madonna's Ray of Light, Massive Attack and Portishead. |

For them to carry on and does think the full line up makes the spice girls but is wishing the girls all the best, she has nothing but love for her time in the band, Your only speaking of what the media tell us and if her read or listen to her recent interviews then you know that your way of the mark. |

Yes, I've seen and read a lot of interviews with her and I never once heard her say she was going to sue the others.

I've noticed how strangely she speaks, with a very hard 'G' - sinGinG, HonG KonG etc.

And I don't think she speaks strangely. She has a typical Liverpool accent. |

She's from Cheshire, her accent is certainly not 'typical Liverpool' although there is a trace of scouse in it.

Stop is a good example of that, she does all the heavy lifting in that song. |

This is coming from a massive spice girls fan. I don't agree with anything you have just wrote. Firstly, the whole suing story is a load of bollocks. I don't believe for one minute shes suing GEM as for a start shes good friends withj Emma so I highly doubt she'll sue anything shes a part of. Also she even said in an interview recently that if that's what they wanna do, she wishes them the best of luck and they should be allowed to do what they want so shes hardly gunna say that then decide to sue them
As for the whole 'she needs to remember where she came from' thing, ok I would have agreed with you pre the 2007/2008 reunion. I will admit she did bug me between like 2001-2006 when she used to slate the band saying how hell it was and she wished she wasn't a spice girl etc [Although now I understand that its because during that time she suffered eating disorders and depression]. But ever since the reunion, every interview shes done she always says how grateful and proud she is to be a spice girl and she said recently that she has watched the movie with her daughter. So she hasn't forgotten where she came from at all I genuinely believe its because Victoria isn't doing the reunion [understandably because shes too busy with her fashion career] and she has always said 5 of them or none at all |

The OP is so ridiculous I don't know where to start.
I've always really liked Mel C. She's my favourite Spice Girl by far and I don't blame her for not wanting to continue the endless cycle of reuninting-splitting-reunitng at this point. The 2008 reunion was brilliant and they should have left it there, although I think their cameo appearance at the Olympics made sense to be fair. If anything I think Geri, Emma and Mel B need to let go of the Spice brand at this point or it will start to look desperate and sad if it hasn't already. Looking forward to giving Mel C's new album a listen but I wish she would do some more theatre. I never got to see her in Blood Brothers but she was amazing by all accounts and I love her album Stages with all the classic showtunes. IMHO Mel C was always the most talented of the band and just doesn't need the Spice brand anymore, and good for her. It's not like she's being a bitch about it, just diplomatic and real. |

I'm going to check that album out as I've heard really good stuff about it, (especially your Ray Of Light reference)!
I really like her accent and she seems so friendly as well! It's mostly a modern electronic sound, but it has one song that has a retro 90's feel to it that reminds me of the Spice Girls, called Loving You Better. It also has really intelligent reflective lyrics what you don't always get with dance stuff, which is usually like let's get down on the dance floor! LOL |

Full respect to Mel C, the others are just up for making some more money
They had their reunion tour and the Olympics. Enough now |
