ED, CS & EE all had crashes this week. For me ED stood out, Corrie was a bit boring so far and EE's was hilarious. Can't help but think that if TV Burp was still on the go Harry Hill would have shown them one after another with a 'and finally in Eastenders' then showing Kim & Dot's small bump!

I felt like Corrie's crash was like something from Harry Hill, especially the slow motion moments with David screaming 'LIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOO'

Emmerdale by a landslide. Coronation street was more like a tumble.

Considering Emmerdale's stunt cost 10x more, it's hardly a fair comparison!

I looked on a bit bemused by that choice!

Emmerdale's car crash scene beats all the other soaps. Its a pity about the disappointing 'one death' ending!

How much did each cost?

ED must have filmed at pinewood too that will have bumped up the cost

I think Emmerdale just wins it for me.

Both were brilliant in their own way

Not even a contest, Emmerdale was serious where as Corries had me in stitches.

I agree although I laughed my arse off at everyone speeding up in Emmerdale and flying motorbikes

Emmerdale chose to put more money towards it, and that's a good thing IMO. Kudos to them.

Quite surprised Emmerdale didn't go for the 'landslide' this week given the reputation of copying National Tragedies on their anniversarit's.

Plane Crash 1993 (Lockerbie 5th anniversary)
Helicopter Crash 2015 (Cutha Glasgow 2nd anniiversary)

Actually - just been watching the rest of Corrie. Although the crash wasn't nearly as good as the Emmerdale one - the immediate aftermath wasn't too bad. I liked the creeping flames toward Anna.

I'm a little bit in love with Robert.

No they were given more money. Corrie couldn't have gone on the same scale this week.

Fair enough, however I think it was well overdue. Corrie always got the big budgets and ED was always second best. I'm glad ED got the chance to shine.
