Robert is the only single man about Michelle's age so it would make sense if she ends up with him. I also think they may pair up Liz and Peter as there aren't any women about his age that he hasn't had a fling or relationship other than Liz.

I remember that but I don't know who else they can pair Peter with. Leanne is with Nick and Michelle will probably be with Robert (hopefully as liked their chemistry) or Steve. The only woman I could think who he may work with other than Leanne is Jenny Bradley but she is with Johnny.

Peter & Jenny would be the one I would like to see, if he doesn't reunite with Leanne that is!! Couldn't really care less about Johnny if I'm honest!!

Why can't they just leave him single? There are plenty of people around at his age happily single.

That's what happens in soaps though. For instance, as soon as you saw Sarah and Gary talking randomly one episode you knew they were going to be getting together.
