My point is Cyanogen Inc is a despicable company, and they're failing.
Along the way they've shit on the Cyanogenmod community, they've shit on one of the first companies to give them a chance (OnePlus) and they've shit on users by preinstalling bloat (removable, admittedly) depending on what commercial deals they've done, and all at the same time (and with absolutely no sense of irony) as proclaiming their intention with COS was putting a bullet through Google's head, because basically they aren't a good custodian of an open source project.
Their levels of arrogance and hypocrisy have been frankly staggering!
McMaster is out as CEO thankfully, but they've laid off the majority of their Workforce and are struggling to keep the rest.
So it doesn't matter what their relationship is with Wileyfox atm, they may not be around much longer.
I would want to know what if any plans Wileyfox has in place for when Cyanogen Inc inevitably goes belly up and shits on yet more people on its way out...
I have nothing against Wileyfox and wish them luck, but by continuing to partner with Cyanogen Inc they're a non starter ATM and IMO should be avoided until they come up with an alternative
Associating with Cyanogen Inc is akin to having Trump's name on your building at this point
