Corrie - Music at end of Friday's episode?
Does anyone know what song was played over the last scenes of at the end of the episode last night? I really liked the song.
I also love it when the soaps use music. Not all the time but it's powerful when done. I loved the U2 song at the end of the tram crash week, and 'Somebody to Love' on Christmas Day, and who can forget 'You and Me' for the Hillman canal crash, or Rita singing 'Silent Night' on Christmas Eve while Tracy found the car on fire up in the woods from Karen's revenge?! Some people hate it though. Thought Emmerdale's music this week was haunting and understated too. |

Loved the ED music throughout the week. It really added to it. Especially at the end of Thursday's episode when Finn phoned Emma and told her James was still alive.
Sorry I can't answer your question though .

Did they do the obligatory shot of a radio in the background of one of the shots so that the "We don't like change" brigade could sleep easy knowing it was in-scene and not incidental music?
Or have we finally moved past that now? |

that ending felt a bit too Hollyoaks-ish to me but still enjoyed the episodes overall it was a very good week for Corrie, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks story-wise, all fantastically full of intrigue and emotion

Or have we finally moved past that now? Emmerdale's cinematography this week should be the norm for soap in 2016 and I think incidental music is completely fine, where appropriate. |

Was that not the theme tune for a drama thing last year ? The one where the boys body was found buried under the floor of an abandoned house. There was a guy in a wheelchair who was a suspect. This will drive me mad till I think of what it's called !!

It was a total SOR that the likes of Eva and Gemma would have picked that song on the jukebox....they would have selected Girls Aloud or Little Mix, etc
