I fear for him this week. He just didn't look comfortable. I voted for him, but not sure it will help much. Agree if he's in the DO with anyone other than Ed he's a goner.

Not really worried, they're a very popular couple, i believe they do have a big fan base that will see them through. He is getting difficult dances out of the way though, ones that don't suit him. He needs a wow dance now though.

He's the second weakest male in the show - Ed Balls being the weakest. Judge Rinder is actually a better dancer, so I think Greg is in danger of going out. Not impressed with Natalie's current choreography, but then again she hasn't really had chance to shine since Scott Maslen.

I agree, he really didn't get to grips with the dance at all. Unfortunately I think he should be worried.

I'm REALLY worried.

Worried when he got the dance.

Worried when he rehearsed the dance.

BLOODY worried watching the dance.

So, yep.

Greg would have got two of my three free votes, but I only got one vote in before voting closed. I hope he isn't in bottom two, but if he is he will surely go

Yup. Very worried. Really don't want to lose him just yet. For a non-dancer he's chuffing fabulous. It'd be a travesty to see him go so soon.

Yes. But I am hoping that the public see that he has been good and he just had a blip this week, as others have had. Like others said, I appreciate that he's a non-dancer.

Greg just looked really stiff and uncomfortable. Didn't like the dance at all that's the impression I got from him.

🙋🏽 me too. He has the potential to be one of the best dancers and love Natalie's choreography. Maybe he's just a ballroom boy more?

I agree with all of your comments here. For me personally Greg has never been a good dancer from the first week. If you watch his dances anytime he has to anything approaching technical foot work he goes wrong. I think that's why Nat has choreographed so many lifts into their numbers to help disguise that, but tonight they couldn't do that and it showed.

He's no worse than Ed and he's been doing well up to this point and much as it pains me to say it Lesley wasn't good tonight either.

Don't agree with that the Judge is very rhythmical and entertaining but he has really weird bandy legs which are distracting when he dances.

In which case Greg's safe along with Lesley and Ed and we'll get a shock result tonight - Claudia's probably the most vulnerable or maybe even Daisy or the Judge - he's about safe enough that the votes will go to Greg, Lesley or Ed and not to him which could leave him vulnerable.

But that was against other sports personalities in year when several other people won gold medals including the charismatic Mo Farrah and Andy Murray who also got his first grand slam win and was the first Brit to make the Wimbolden final in most people on this board's lifetimes and Bradley Wiggins was the first Brit to win the Tour de France. The phrase embrassment of riches comes to mind also SCD will vote for people because they like them and they've had a dud week rather than on what they achieve.

Yes I would echo all of the above. He hasn't improved at all really and seems to lack any kind of natural musicality. His saving grace has been the lifts.

Not sure whether he's in danger tonight though. I would think he's hugely popular.

You could say the same about Greg - Craig was spot on in his comments. Greg has pigeon toes and is so bandy he couldn't stop a pig in a passage !! Very ungainly and never shows any emotion other than intense concentration. Just not a natural dancer.

It's a shame, as I hoped we'd see more of Natalie in the main comp this year, but alongside Rinder and then with Balls and Lesley, they are the bottom tier of dancers.

Greg is trying hard and his Ballroom is slightly better, but he' not really that much better than the likes of Michael Vaughn. Greg can dance to the extent that he has some rhythm, musicality and timing, but given he's so amateur (no background like Danny etc) he's really struggling with the actual technique which makes dances recognisable. If Natalie wasn't alongside him I wouldn't always know what he's dancing, whereas if Ore and Danny are attempting signature steps they'll have a better chance of making them more obvious as to what they are. I know Greg having no dance background is not a problem in terms of entertaining (which lesser skilled dances fall back on), but I think most non dancers by a certain stage find it hard to compete with other better celebs that can not only dance the steps/moves sufficiently, but also capture the audience with character and emotion aspects of the dance too. Sometimes Greg is trying so hard just to do the steps that the other aspects get lost (which can be said of lots of the lesser dancers of course). Most of the winners have been able to marry the skill, character, emotion etc in a more roundabout sense which Greg (and obv some others) can't, and hence they usually only get so far.

I love his enthusiasm and efforts, but I wouldn't be surprised if in the next couple of weeks, if not this week, his days were numbered. I love Natalie, so this (in a Strictly sense) pains me.

Yup said as much during the show. It'd be shame cos I imagine they'd have a couple of Ballrooms in a row next which suit him so much more.

Threw them a vote but also gave Ed and Gorka one (ahem) and I think they're the 3 most in trouble so my votes probably cancelled each other out !

I knew the moment I got invested my heart would get broken. I really liked them and wanted them to do well. Don't know who I want to win now - Danny is brilliant but I can't warm to him as a person, Ore I fear is too marmite, Louise is boring and Daisy doesn't really grab me either yet nor really does Claudia. No one else has a chance - such a shame.

I'm really worried But if they do escape the d/o .. then it's perhaps a good thing to get the cha cha out of the way.
He's lovely and a real beginner so I've made allowances

I also wish that Greg could have some ballroom.

Me too. He looked uncomfortable tonight but he has genuinely been a joy so far (and hopefully to continue for at least another couple of weeks), his enthusiasm is shining through.

Then again so is Ed's

I'm worried for Natalie because I think this will be yet another year where she won't get very far in the competition. Not so worried for Greg as I just don't think he's a good dancer so it wouldn't be unfair at all if he ended up in the dance-off this week. That cha cha was awful.

I think Greg is such a cool lad and he's got a fantastic attitude and personality. So I tend to hope that he does well each week. He's not a natural dancer so I like the idea of Greg slowing embracing it more and more, building up his courage and confidence with each dance routine he does.

For some reason he seemed a bit flummoxed as if he'd forgotten some of the routine. Parts of the routine looked exactly the same as their dance routine from last weekend.

Natalie as the pro dancer should be pushing Greg and come up with really unique routines that help them stand out of the crowd. Greg just needs that one dance where everything clicks and that could be the start of a massive transformation.

I still think Greg could potentially win but Natalie needs to start coming up with fresh ideas.
