It's not Whitney Houston's song,it's Dolly Parton's but Whitney had a big hit with it,much to Dolly's delight as she was getting the royalties.

The singers are so good, that when I'm immersed in a dance, I sometimes forget we're not listening to a sound track. Absolutely spot on.

Hayley really sung it very very well. Enjoyable.

This version used was officially credited to Claudia Streza

Claudia Streza may have sung that version, but it was still written by Dolly Parton

Have to agree to differ, I really hate that song, especially the overwrought, unsubtle Whitney version - aural torture

Whitneys is a bit "I LOVE YOU, D'YA HEAR ME?"

It's a song written and originally sung by Dolly Parton which Whitney Houston covered.

So true . When you listen to Dolly's version it's a lovely, sad, gentle song showing fragility .

Totally agree, but I am always impressed by the singers and band.

I LOVE the singers and the band - there is such immediacy having them there and Hayley did beautifully.

I remember thinking 'better than Whitney', probably because her version sort of drove me mad at the time, overwrought and overplayed on the jukebox in the pub.

It is, heartbreakingly gorgeous whereas Whitney is just bellowing.

I always appreciate when they do a good job that it doesn't take me out of the dance I'm watching. They did a great job with that one tonight. Same with How Will I Know and Always On My Mind as well.

I'm not a fan of the belt-it-out-like-Whitney style, either. Like some others here, I prefer Dolly's version.

Two Whitney songs in the same programme is a bit too much for me, ugh!

Think they are all great - very rare to hear something no so good from any of the band or singers. Pleased that Tess acknowledged the lady too - great stuff.
