thank god for ed balls 'lift'. I thought he was going to decapitate katya! Other than that a decidedly meh night...the leaders are the same as usual, one or two overmarked...all a bit meh.

I thought the show was Ok but maybe Laura's injury and Will's premature departure lead to less performances that usual at that stage.
Also Craig is not mean enough these series. I can't decide if that's better or worse.
It was a bit better when he was mean I think.

Agree. Brendan being off and Laura getting a by changed the dynamic too much. There was no one who wowed me either. Halloween is always fun if not to everyone's taste, should bring back some of the sparkle hopefully.

A bit lacklustre for me. I was so invested in it last year, recording every week etc. Tonight I couldn't be enthusiastic about anybody !

Agreed! Very dull. The judges marks were all over the place, they didn't seem to be watching the same performances. Everyone seems to be trying really earnestly but there's no fun in it. Maybe they are all too competitive and not enjoying it enough to relax into the dance and really produce something special. And for the last two weeks I really have not thought Ore was better than Danny. Just saying !

I usually love to rewind and rewatch the good dances again at the end, a pleasant enough show, but agree, none that stood out this week.

Yep it felt a bit down. I think it's a combination of ill Brendan, injured Laura and the rumoured bug that's going round, and the Will thing. It's almost as if everyone was walking on egg shells thinking 'God please don't let anything else happen!'. Katya only narrowly escaped!

The best part of th show was the horror that was Ed's lift. It gave me the best laugh of the series.. Still laughing now when I think of it.

The only one I thought that had improved was Anastacia.

The others did not have their best nights and were well over-marked.

Totally agree, underwhelming show tonight.

I agree, felt quite flat. Things like Daisy's Charlston and Greg's Cha Cha should have been really feel good but I didn't feel it at all.
Best bits were having Gorka back and Danny's Rumba.

I felt really sorry for Ed actually. That music. That theme. Dancing with a bag (rucksack not RBF Katya). But the first two lifts were lovely. They didn't count no. of lifts when KK did their smooth last year. That third lift was...one death you have to die, fall to your doom or have your boob grabbed. But hell, they recovered eventually. Better than a 2.
Greg should go tonight but if Ed is B2 he's a goner.

There has been a lot of bag dancing this series. Danny & Oti did it, Claudia and AJ had a bag in a dance, obviously Daisy & Aljaz when they did Mary Poppins and now Ed got given a sad rucksack to flail about with...

Totally agree the show was very under whelming. I miss the class of 2015 and especially Team GG, Jailona and Team Glita. There was a lack of excitement and the over marking was getting on my nerves.

Yep , it was mostly very 'week one' I thought .
Even the great dancers like Ore and Danny were just very good but not as fabulous as past weeks .
A strange show in general .
