The viewing figures for this year have never been higher! Each week is constantly an improvement on every year before! That is pretty amazing really, they have stopped the show becoming stale. Look at X-Factor, each week is lower viewing figures than ever before and it really needs a shake up or to be rested for a while!

I am enjoying this year's series but the problem with this one is that everyone is pretty good. We are seeing hardly any improvement from the contestants. We love someone who is awful in week 1 and gets to (or near) the final. There isn't a massive progression going on which is the biggest theme of this year. But I saw a lot of negativity about the contestants this year at the start, about who are they? and it's worked out really well with them.

I once saw a suggestion on DS that they should do what they do in America and have revolving Pros. So if you are not in one year, it doesn't mean they are over or gone, you might come back in a few years. Each year has a selection of old and new pros and people are rested and come back. I can see this year they have a lot of new pros for the future and they are young. I do miss some of the previous ones and then some I don't miss at all! Too much attention is put on the "current team", it should change per year to mix it up a bit

I think they have quietened down the pros / contestants and judges though. On another thread people shared videos of the judges almost coming to blows in the past disagreeing on dances! The contestants and pros on ITT show a personality or side we never see on the main show! They barely speak on the main show or show emotion on the main show (Ore is the exception).

This is why I always watch ITT, really makes Strictly so much more enjoyable
