That's the HD Blu Ray. A 4K Blu Ray is yet to be announced.

4K Blu-ray Smart players are already in the shops and include models by Panasonic & Samsung.

I have also read reports that 4K BBC iPlayer will also be launched next year before any dedicated BBC TV channel.

Whilst most people are happy with standard definition and DVDs apposed to Blu-ray it's going to be a long time I would imagine.

There are many who think they are watching in HD because their TVs are "HD Ready" and are unaware they are actually watching in standard definition.
I agree. I have 3 older female relatives/ friends whom can't be bothered 'learning' the HD channel numbers and if they accidentally get to a HD channel, can't see any difference in PQ. One relative sits within 4 feet of a 7 year old 50" Panasonic Plasma watching very very 'noisy' Freeview SD picks rather than turning on her TiVo HD box which she uses for the occasional recording ( in SD of course)).

Wow that's the first time I've seen something like that. No wonder they call snakes evil.
Ganging up on the lizards like that.

That red crab leaping at the screen made me jump, glad it's not in 3D.

Me too. The natural world is amazing and mindblowing. Attenborough's programmes are always fantastic.

Go ibex - how cool are they?

Amazing how the Ibex can cling to the side of the mountain and run around on it

The fox is quite cute too, but glad they got away
