Eagles swooping at 200 miles an hour! You wouldn't want to get in the way of that!

Breath-taking and brilliant.

I think I will probably be re-watching this episode again next Sunday afternoon.

The flamingo parade was fantastic. Brilliant photography throughout and amazing shots.
100 hours to get the Eagles shots........pure dedication in those freezing temperatures.
I just love these wildlife programmes. Looking forward to the jungle next week.
The cameramen take huge risks filming. Hand gliding holding a camera and trying to focus while thinking you might die any minute.
Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant!

Just wow! This is what HD television was invented for.

Be honest. Who was scratching along with the bears. Itchy!

I concur with all the comments, another brilliant episode, I think Snow Leopards are amazing, the faceplanting Bobcat was funny. I have been wondering if they did Planet Earth 3 in another 10 years what the camera technology will be like then, sadly I very much doubt Sir David Attenborough will around to do the commentary on it, so I hope they find someone who comes across just as well as him.

I'm not sure anyone could match up to Sir David. There are other narrators I enjoy, but for me even the best of them don't come close. It will be a very sad day when we no longer get to hear that voice, but let's hope we have him for some time yet

They could always computer generate his commentary, taking individual words from past commentaries and arranging them in the required order.

I did think that but it might sound a bit fake if not done properly.

I think it's more likely it was waiting to try and detect any movement under the snow from fleeing mice.

Not as engaging as the first episode. But the flamingos were nice.

Watching this brilliant series shows how difficult the plight of some animals is.

Today I've watched baby lizards being chased by racer snakes (last weeks episode), foxes chasing goats up perilous mountains, said goats shimming down mountains just to find water, female snow leapords being savaged by males whilst trying to defend her cub and ending up injured in the process, and eagles fighting over food. There was more but I can't remember it all now.

We humans think that life is tough 😄

A fantastic programme.

What makes me sad is that some of these animals may not be around in 10 years time. There are forecasts that elephants will become extinct in 20 years. I don't know the forecast for rhinos and tigers but the fact that their numbers can be estimated tells us how bad things are. It makes me so angry that they're being poached for the utterly selfish Chinese medicine market. And today I read that 4 million donkeys are slaughtered every year to make a Chinese youth serum. Few donkeys left in China so now there will be Factory farming of donkeys to feed the beauty industry for the new Chinese middle class.

I apologise for the rant but I feel inarticulate with rage. Chaining bears in cages and milking their bile ducts wasn't enough?

Breathe.

I'm loving everything about Planet II of course. My heart was racing when I watched the Ibyx fawns escaping the fox. Fabulous photography of the eagles fighting, never seen that before.

Just wish DA wouldn't speak in that soft, "Breathy" style, I personally find it hard to understand. (The guys at the end were fine)

Sure sounded like it. I love ducks, so I was happy. Glad the bobcat got a grey squirrel.

Another stunning episode. The grizzly's having a good scratch was a nice bit of light relief amid the drama of survival. The snow leopard footage was amazing!

I was reading in the USA they remove Attenborough from these type of shows and use someone like Sigourney Weaver to do the voice over. And they did a campaign to get him on the DVD releases.

Plenty of mimics who could "do" his voice.
