No wonder Indiana Jones is scared of the little b******ds.

I'm hypnotised by the movement of snakes. It always looks like it shouldn't work.

I can only imagine the sound man and his colleagues spending a day lugging a ton of equipment up a cliff settling down tonight to watch all his hard work and no 5.1 sound.

Anyway no doubt, like the first series, the Blu-ray will have the full DTS HD-MA soundtrack.

Iguana Jones, I always knew some day you'd come waddling back towards the rocks.

Good point, I did'nt think about the sound man's location environment!

However PE2 is the perfect program for viewing on the largest screen with the best home cinema sound one can afford ............ for a totally mind-blowing immersive experience.

Same here. No idea what some are complaining about. Maybe their £1000 soundsystems are no good?

Anywho, what a programme! For me, the narratives add to the experience. No soundtrack/narration loudness or quietness issues either. David was great as usual - guess my ears work fine

They were on near the beginning, I think after the pygmy sloaths. Spectacular footage it was as well.

Oh I did see them, they were the ones climbing up the spiky trees - for some reason I hadn't realised they were lemurs, even though they look exactly like lemurs

Amazing programme, I've never seen anything like those snakes - terrifying.

Sad to say though the damn music spoiled it for me, so intrusive and unnecessary. Would have preferred just David Attenborough's voice and the sounds of nature.

Yes it was, I believe this is the first series that the BBC has produced in 4k.

I don't think the poor things have any choice other than having to go into that damn water. The one with a bloody front still makes me shudder, but what a battler all the same.

Their ancestors chose to occupy that particular ecological niche. And very successful they are - over a million of them. Doubtless the lack of predators/competitors is in their favour.

I was reading since it was filmed the volcano went off and they are not sure if the colony was wiped out. they are living a disaster movie.

Fantastic programme with amazing camera work. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
Every time I watch penguins I always think of the movie 'Happy Feet'.
The snake sequences were the worst of nightmares. Sooooo many of them preying on a small hatchling. Yuk! Made my skin itch involuntary through fear. Wouldn't get me sunbathing on that snake infested, sandy beach.
