Soap Stunt Writers
Does anybody know how episode writers write episodes that have stunts in? Do they include a lot of detail, or do they just outline what happens and leave the rest to the stunt people, and then write the aftermath? I'm curious as I'd imagine it's quite hard to realistically write a stunt in a script, and I'd imagine it looks very different to what happens on-screen?

There is some behind the scenes Corrie stuff on the DS soap page and a thread with the storyboard
But anyways the writers don't write the stunt they write the dialogue only The storyliners and creatives map out the storylines and they generally get in specialists to work out the logistics of the stunt. From what Iv read before about an Emmerdale big week, the chosen director has a lot of input into it in the planning stages and all the way through |
