BT 4K boxes have Wifi built in but not activated
To get it working you need to go to the YouView Settings to set it up

Presumably the OP wants them to be able to deliver the 4k UHD BT Sport channel. Can you confirm that this is the case, or are you just referring to the extra internet channels in either HD or SD?

The UHD sports channel works fine with powerline adapters. I have the BT mini hubs and have no issues with them.

When you place an order for BT TV and choose the UHD package there is an option to purchase some adapters for £20.00.
BT now offer them as an option instead of hard wired connections.

BT UHD TV box comes with a good length of network cable so should reach the BT HUB with ease if the hub is in the same room.
Otherwise you could buy a cable that would reach the BT HUB that should be shielded cable.
The BT HUB can handle 4K/UHD images from the BT UHD Youview box ( BT Sport UHD channel ) and my 4K / UHD using Netflix 4K at the same time if you needed and would need two TV's to view them both at the same time.
