This did suit you a lot Jennifer. However, I just really wish your mentor had chosen a more current sounding song as this was just a bit meh and didn't really make me feel anything. It was an okay start but nothing that makes you stand out at all and you could get lost in the crowd. Next week (if you are here), please use a modern sort of song and artist. An example I have to help you is Moko who has a soulful voice whilst still being current.

"Jennifer! My soulful diva! I was so excited at the prospect of mentoring you, I really didn’t have any other choice than to bring you into my Top 3! You have a very pronounced gospel style and I am looking to bring that feel to the competition and hopefully bring some unique and undiscovered music from the genre. Some good comments for Jennifer, but also the second time the "dated" argument is brought forward. Do the public agree that Jennifer needs to reinvent herself if she wants to have any hope of going all the way?

Hmm Josh, whilst it obviously suited you well, it's just a very predictable choice. The reason being that John Legend is probably the first person everyone thinks of when you sing. It was a nice song but just wasn't interesting enough or wow. I think your mentor should look at more alternative RnB sort of singers which would make you a more intriguing sort of act. Talk about slaying girls!!! I honestly adored that. When I heard this song I knew instantly that it would just be perfect for you. It had the sass, amaze vocals and fantastic harmonizes. You are a force to be reckoned with in this competition and that performance showed exactly why. Anyways that was better than I thought it would be actually. It suited you quite well and suited that Eurovision vibe that she always gives in her performances. I wish there was a bit more power in this but other than that it was quite a good performance. Far from perfect but a nice start for you definitely! Out of the overs your mentor seems to have clicked with you most and I am excited for more!

With you, I think your mentor has done what they did to Lola aswell. It just felt very dated and just seemed like a typical talent show performance. There have been some quite good performances tonight and I don't think you were particularly interesting at all. It is a shame because I think there is so much that could be done with you. If you get through, your mentor needs to modernize you. They did it with Olivia and I really think they could with you!

True indie at its finest! This had a real resemblance to your voice Christian and suited you really well. It was a little bit boring but was still one of the best of the night by far and a great way to close the show. I thought that you and Jack would be too similar but your mentor has managed to seperate your styles completely and has done well with both of you. Okay, all twelve acts have performed, which means the spotlight is now focused on the DS public. Two acts must leave tonight, which means the three acts at the bottom of tonight's vote will be in a bit of a pinch. The bottom-ranked act will leave automatically, while the 11th and 10th-placed acts will face the judges once more in the sing-off. That's a fate you generally want to spare your favourites from, so vote!

Here's a recap of all twelve performances, for convenience's sake:

To vote, please send me a set of rankings of these acts (12-1, with 12 being your favourite act and 1 being your least favourite act). Remember: ANYONE CAN VOTE - whether you're one of the show's judges, a loyal viewer or just someone viewing the show. Every vote counts.

The lines will close at 9:30 PM, after the X Factor results and the inevitable storm immediately following it have passed. That gives you about 90 minutes to vote. Granted, it's not a lot - so I would advise getting your vote in as soon as possible.
