Out of nowhere, Reggie N Bollie absolutely wiped the floor with the other finalists. Taking a massive lead in part one, they left the other acts struggling for votes, culminating in a very close (0.5% close!) battle for 2nd place between the remaining solo artists. Peyton did a good job at catching up during part 2, but Reggie N Bollie's lead was too much of an obstacle for him to overcome despite topping the vote four times previously as opposed to Reggie N Bollie's zero (not counting the week 5 flash vote). All in all, well played to Pingu - saving your best songs till the end really paid off for you!

Well I was destroyed in the final then!
But well deserved from the boys

Then again, on Vs Factor 5, Emily bet out Blonde Electra after never topping a vote at any point until Final Part 2 so anything is possible here!

I'm just going to post these as one giant wall of text. Whether you read them or not is up to you.

Announcement #1
Hosting this series has been a mixed experience for me. I loved doing one of these shows again, but I would be lying if I said it was one of my most enjoyable shows. Most of the time, it was far more stressful than it should have been. Despite that, I'd like to thank Pingu, Jacka, Maris and Juan for seeing this one through with me all the way to the end. The format itself I consider more of a novelty, it's not as exciting as I initially thought it would be. For that reason, I have decided that The X Factor: Wheel of Fortune will join the ranks of the one-off games and as such will not be returning for a second series.

Announcement #2
Taking into account the stress this game gave me and my absolutely loaded schedule, I plan to take a break from DS again. Time-wise it would be suicidal to jump right into hosting another show, and there are enough other games out there at the moment any way. In fact, my hosting comeback was mostly motivated by the desire to drum up interest in this type of forum game again, and I think we excelled in that area. I apologize to those who were counting on me to be more like my old self, who would happily take on games one after another, but times change. I'm getting old.

Announcement #3
Following up on the previous announcement, I'm not done hosting yet. It may be the last game I ever host, but I made a promise to revive The X Factor: Project Stars for a second series and I intend to keep it. Expect more news once the new year hits.

PS: Webpage updates and all will happen somewhere within the next month. The site is a mess and my source document is severely outdated as well.

Aw Rick, despite all the things that happened I have enjoyed being part of a game again and I think it had quite a good standard with an amazing winner!

Thank you so much for your brilliant hosting as always there is nobody who could ever match you

I would also like to thank Jacka aswell for being a worthy runner up with his act and an amaze judge and person!

Like you Rick, I will also be taking a break from DS now and I don't see myself being in a game for a while it's been quite stressful

Thank you for an amazing game Rick!

I also plan to take an exam related hiatus from DS now but hope to come back and work with Rick and Pingu again in the coming year.

I also have some plans for a show to be produced during summer 2017, but for now will continue to support the flourishing talent here on the forum.

Quick update before I sign out too, I lied and actually updated the webpage for the series itself.

The bios you'll have to wait a very long time for though, as that's the messy part I honestly can't be bothered to delve into right now.
