Kellie & Kevin. Sorry i know that they were popular, but i felt that they just got too confident and cocky as the series went on.

All of the whooping and high-kicks that they did, wiped out any affection that i originally had for Kevin when he first joined the show.

can't remember that far back but least favourite couple would have to be Denise van Outen and James Jordan. Seriously amazed they managed to dance as well as they did with their heads up their backsides. Thing is they were the best dancers but they knew it and made is so obvious they knew it. My votes went to Kimberley.

Jason Donovan and Kristina probably come second. Jason if anything was worse than Denise. Kristina wasn't that bad really but she never did anything for me.

This series don't really like Claudia & AJ, good but too cute.

Individuals I don't like (tho I mostly like their partners) Gregg Wallace, Judy Murray, Lulu, Peter Andre, Edwina Currie.

Kevin and Susanna Reid with the bare minimum of deliberation.

That odious attention seeking woman ruined Strictly in 2013 for me.

His partner is lovely but Ioathed Matt di Angelo. Snivelling toddler.

Wasn't keen on Abbey at all but hated some of the stuff written on here about her.

Dom. Urgh.

Apologies in advance but as a partnership, Ola Jordan and Chris Hollins.

Tony Jacklin, didn't mind Aliona but hated everything he stood for, he was only on the show as a favour to Brucie and didn't even know how to put one foot in front of the other to dance, honourable mentors to a lot on here also.

David Dickinson, Natasha Kaplinsky, Tom Chambers, Craig Kelly, Jan Ravens (I hope you're happy now, Jan, I really do.)

But, above all: DVO. I'd have tolerated her if she'd just admitted to her training. Combining that with her questionable Latin technique (she wasn't a ringer worthy of Natalie or Jill), and partnership with James...bleugh.

Whoever that blonde Aussie danced with. I could not stand him from the first time I saw him, glad he went, just sorrynfor his partner whoever she was got lumbered with him and so immediate dislike from me.

No-one was as bad as him. However he could dance a bit.

As someone said, Matt DA. Stopping in not one dance but two was ridiculous and Gethinwuzrobbed!

The OPs question was Least Favourite Couple of All Time - so this has zero to do with ability..

Mine was Sycophantic Snowdon & Brendan. She was so fake, false and luvvie-ish...he, at the time, was a moody egocentric who seemed to think the world owed him a favour.

Dishonorable mention to Jason Donovan & Kristina. He was annoying beyond belief and she just seemed to enable him.

Finally Iwan Thomas & Ola. He was an absolute idiot and his whole attitude stank. Ola's disappointment was clear from the moment they were paired - and that's why it became so uncomfortable watching them.

Are you thinking of Hayley Holt? She is actually an New Zealander and danced with ex-Olympic swimmer Mark Foster.

Ann Widdecombe, nobody else comes even close.
But if pushed, I'd add Peter Andre..but that's just because of all the previous baggage he came with.

Trent Whiddon who danced with Pixie. I liked him. Wished he'd stayed longer

OMG yes this. He is utterly repellent. I remember him being a bit jumped up too when being judged. Small man syndrome, methinks.

Yuk *shivers.

Fine I've got the point - give over and move on. I've even resisted the temptation to snark back at the Gethinwozrobbed brigade. Seriously guys it's been almost ten effing years - I'm over Austin and I've even forgiven Brendan for acting like a prat although seeing him being mistreated by Lulu helped me. No one deserved that woman.

I think if he taken being judged magnamiously (as Ed does) or with humour (as Judge Rinder does and Julian Clary before him did) he'd have lasted but he didn't and the public showed him what they thought of that.

Yep mine too. Although I can't say worst couple because I have absolutely nothing against Lilia, far from it.

Agree with many of the chief culprits cited here. But the one in more recent times who became unbearable was for me ... Victoria Pendleton. And consequently Brendan as we watched him manically trying to convince us all was well. ('This girl ... this girl!')

Jay and Aliona

Never got the hype behind the jive - he was mimicking the character, that's why it looked cool. He couldn't emote to save his life on the dancefloor and should have been penalised more for it. It certainly wasn't a wow dance or a 10 one for sure in my books.

I never bought his shy routine either. He was in a boyband, to then be shy performing I don't honestly understand. I just found him to be smug as well.

Combined with Aliona who is Mrs Smug and Arrogant in my books, it was by far my least favourite pair ever.

I don't think the fact he'd won it by week three either helped. It kind of made last series rather pointless, although the joy that was Katie and Anton kept me watching.

I forgot this partnership in my original post. I cannot stand Susanna Reid. I'd blocked her out because she annoys me so much. (Sidenote: her and Piers Morgan together on ITV every morning is my personal hell, I avoid at all costs).

Kevin is ok if he's with a calmer partner. Liked him with Frankie and like him with Louise. Was irritated by him & Kellie. Kellie was just a smidge more bearable than Susanna, though!

Dominic Littlewood & Lilia
Craig Kelly & Flavia
Gregg Wallace & Aliona

Those 3 stand out for me, mainly because of their attitudes believing they were better than they actually were..

Pamela and James
Jan and Anton ( not Anton so much to be fair)
Lulu and Brendan (again not really Brendan)

I disliked Abbey, The Octopus-Wag-Grabber. I don't think Peter was paying too much attention to her during those days and she looked desperate. We now know she didn't get all that she wanted, but at least she walked away with the Glitter Ball.

Add Gary Rhodes to the delusional too and Joe Calzage - Kristina didn't help the later - too cockstruck.
