He looked so sad during the dance off tonight, not seen him like that before. Do you think it's because he got on so well with Lesley or maybe because it's his last year?

Every year a lot of people think that he's leaving, yet he is still there.

End of an era. This series has that feeling for me in spades.

Can't find another job.

He would be so much better as host than woodentop Tess. He has charm, affection and humour as well as his dance knowlege.

He actually looked old tonight. I can see why he wouldnt be paired with the younger females, it would just look odd. I would say the same about Anastacia and Gorka toobwefore anyone jumps in.

Maybe he would. But he has had a go at presenting and was dropped. How'd he do?

You could see how Lesley revived him this year, even after a good year with Katie, Anton really came alive this year.
I'm no Anton fan but I'm disappointed that him andLesley went and surprised, I thought he was the one pro with a very strong voting fanbase, I guess none of them have.

Have no idea of this. Maybe I am just clutching at straws but Tess gets worse and worse and Claudia has crossed the line from wacky to silly

If you mean the dreadful Wall show, the whole thing was dropped wasn't it and I'm not sure that had anything to do with Anton's presenting - from what I saw of it even Ant and Dec would have struggled to make a go of that show!

He hosted a cookery show on BBC daytime and was terrible at it as well, although that was 8 years ago now.

For me, Hole on the Wall was a "guilty pleasure." Crass, stupid and wonderful. Anton's presenting was no better or worse than anyone else's.

I think Anton has generally been very thankful to his partners, and always seemed more sad for them rather than himself. Because of the partners he tends to get, I think he has a knack of just taking them as they are, knowing their limitations, working with whatever strengths he can fine and just enjoying the ride while it lasts (without showing obvious signs of frustration for their benefit). He tends to see the friendship as a win as well as just the dancing in the show. Whether he looked sad I'm not overly sure, he seemed more or less the same to me, as complimentary as ever and with the usual 'joy to work with' line as normal, so I don't really see him being anymore sad or different on this occasion, but I confess i don't take the time to dissect him in this sense.

Anton has been rumoured to be going plenty of previous series (and become the host post Brucie). Brendan also constantly thought by some to be just going through the motions and on his way out, but both are still here (even when other as efficient Pros have been replaced (i.e. Ian Waite, Matthew Cutler, Brian Fortuna etc).

If he is leaving, I think he'd only leave as professional dancer if you understand what I mean.

Whoever decided to put eyeliner on him certainly did no favours for him.

It's all to do with position on the leaderboard: Pash, Aljaz, Anton and Brendan all have fanbases but it won't stop them being in the B2 when there is multiple voting/spam voting for Greg's arse and Ed being an arse.

What might have been interesting would have been if Laura had danced and NOT been given a 9 from Bruno. You could well have had a Daisy vs Laura DO. Ed doing a cha cha might finish him next week or he could be on for a Widdy, in which case I would expect Laura in bottom two next week, Daisy getting a bottom two bounce, then maybe Ana if back with Brendan (not his fault) especially if he gets a Halloween jive again, poor sod.
